Just a couple of days ago I replied to a post about charting and how much I LOVE IT! Amazing how things change in so short a time! Since Im not working now, my sleeping pattern has changed a lot. Instead of sleeping for 8 Im sleeping 5 or 6 hrs before temp time. I know the rule is 3 hrs. But Ive been temping at regular time then after 8 hrs of sleep. HUGE difference. I imagine that after getting 8 hrs sleep and temping at 7am (my usual time) consistently for the first half of my cycle, then ovulating on my first day off work and having inconsistant sleeping time for the entire time past O has to make some kind of difference. Anyways, the temps Ive entered are the 7am temps. (Except for the 2dpo, I forgot my alarm, so it was late, and high)
Please have a look at my chart.
Any comments on my chart would be so appreciated!!!

I can't say much about charts as my temps are all over and FF has changed my O date twice. Maybe trust your monitor and just wait it out. I am sorry I don't have much more advice.

I have a love/hate relationship with temping. I love knowing exactly what is going on, but some people... myself included..... have to be so strict about it because any changes completely messes up your chart.

I have to keep everything exactly the same for an entire cycle.... Same blankets, windows either opend or closed, air or heat set at the same temp. Sleep and wake at the same times. If anything changes my chart is screwed. I say trust your monitor, but you might want to keep testing, or at least keep BDing just in case you didn't O yet.

I'm sorry your chart is confusing, Tobi. Some people's BBT is more sensitive to changes in sleeping patterns. I would think that next cycle, once you are settled into your summer pattern, your chart will be more clear.

It is possible that you O'd and your temps are just a little funky from the sleep changes, or that you haven't O'd and you will either surge again or have an anovulatory cycle. If I were you I would continue to temp and use the monitor. If you don't get a period when you expect based on the O date or have another surge with a clear temp shift, take a hpt.

Your temps may pop back up into a clearer pattern, too. Some people do get a bit of a dip for a couple days after O.

Good luck! Hopefully this is your cycle and you won't need to worry about this next month

Thanks for the replies ladies!
Nicole- I think maybe thats what happened, the lower temps for a couple days after O. This morning I was woken up an hour earlier than my alarm, so I temped then, fully expecting to see another low temp. Well, lo and behold, my temps have gone back up!

I'm thinking perhaps you may have O'd earlier than FF is picking it up and that your temps are doing somewhat they should be doing... you're going to have at least 1 dip to or below coverline for implantation in the cycle. So perhaps this is a promising cycle... keep temping and don't stress the time as long as you've have 4 hours consecutive sleep you should be fine!!

Wlouldnt that be ironic Celena? We only dtd once this cycle, without pulling out. Exactly on the day of my second peak reading, cause I panicked. I wanted to take the ttc break then second guessed it right at the last minute. No preseed, no frantic timing to get as much bding in as possible, nothing except a promise to myself that I was going to spend my next cycle sipping daiquiris beside the pool at my new house!
Thank you for the words of encouragement lady, I so appreciate it!! I can skip the cocktails if I HAVE to. lol
