Does anyone tan? I have a membership and go maybe 2 times a week on good weeks. I have not been in over 2 wks though. I keep wondering if maybe that isnt healthy for ttc. I am not sure. I know there are different sides to the health factor on tanning. I just hate being so white. I have got to have alittle color. I am thinking about stopping though. I normally dont tan in the winter anyhow. Just summer so I think I am going to end my membership in the end of August.

I had heard it can damage DNA which is really scary so that cant be good for ttc.

I tan once a year for a month before our big vacation. I know it is stupid and unhealthy but I love having the color and it is relaxing. The month this year happened to be the month I got pregnant and there haven't been any issues so far. It's probably not the best idea but I don't think a little bit hurts.

I heard it is ok to tan, even when pregnant. The only thing you need to watch is your body temperature so you don't get too hot.

Ya the place I go to Sunday's allow pregnant women to go tan and have even had some tell them that their doc's suggested it because of vitamin D (which I find hRD TO BELIEVE) BUT YA NEVER KNOW.

So I've kept my membership even tho I'm at the beach alot

I don't think I could tan if I knew I was pregnant. I like the color too, but it always scares me with all the side effects from tanning. I used to tan a lot more. I have even tanned 3 times while I was getting chemo. Probably not good, but oh well.

I have a membership and I go about 4 times a week. I read in one of the baby books that you're not supposed to tan. Im going to probably slow it down if not stop once we start trying here in a day or two. I would ask your dr. And when you find out let us know! I'm curious!
