So, girls, what are your fitness plans for the week?

I'm in the second week of a 2 week plan to exercise 3 times a week. First week- 3 bike rides, go me! Second week- nothing yet! I WILL fit in my 3 workouts by Sunday, I WILL!

How is everyone else doing?

I'm going to try to work out twice this week. (Thursday and Saturday) I am also going to start making sure that I drink 64oz. of water MINIMUM! each day. I'm really bad about that and I know that it is so important both for weight loss and for TTC. I really do need to focus on improving that.

I am doing P90X. Will be starting week 2 tomorrow.

7/7: X Stretch & Going to try Cardio X (Cardio X is not on my workout plan but I just want to try it b/c it isn't in the classic version at all for the 13 weeks)

7/8: Chest & Back, Ab Ripper X

7/9: Plyometrics

7/10: Shoulders & Arms, Ab Ripper X

7/11: Yoga X

7/12: Legs & Back, Ab Ripper X

7/13: Kenpo X

7/14: X Stretch & maybe some Cardio X

*** All workouts are around 1 - 1 1/2 hours. I have to do this routine for 3 weeks. 2 more weeks left!!!
I think tomorrow I am going to start some kind of journal to keep track of my workouts, calories burned, food I eat, etc.

Nicole- Sounds like a plan! Keep it up!!! How long or how far do you usually bike?

Stephanie, that sounds like a great plan for the week! I am really bad about keeping hydrated, too. I don't really like drinking water that much, so I have been trying to drink Gatorade instead. KUP on how you're doing!

Lisa, that sounds intense! Wow, I am impressed! Good luck with the journal! I hope it keeps you motivated.

My bike rides are usually 20-30 miles. I used to ride to work and back every day (9 miles each way), but haven't done that in a long time. Riding doesn't really wear me out though as long as I don't go too fast. I just hate doing it in the awful heat we've been having this week. UGH!

Stephanie- Sounds like you have a great plan. Last night after my workout I drank like two bottles of water. Then I felt like my stomach stuck out about 2 feet. LOL

Nicole- 20-30 miles is a lot!!! That is great. I wish I had a stationary bike b/c I always enjoyed doing that at the gym. It hurt my knee the least out of all the equipment. I don't know if I could do it now b/c of my hip. Kenpo about killed me last night. All the kicking. My back popped to which didn't feel to good. I have already gone through a whole bottle of Tylenol.

This heat can be terrible. I remember in high school we had 2 practices a day for cross country and ran like 10 miles in this heat. Actually it was even worse b/c it was at the end of July/ early August.

Does anyone know if I can take Tylenol and Ibuprofin or any of that with Darvocet? Guess I can always google it.

I don't know about the Tylenol/Ibuprofen and Darvocet thing, Lisa. I hope your hip and back are feeling better, though! Biking is definitely a good low impact workout. So is swimming, if you have the opportunity to do that!

It's 8am. I've been up for an hour with the babies asleep and I should TOTALLY have worked out, and I've been on the computer instead. *sigh* Yeah, not doing so well with the exercise idea.

Don't get too down on yourself Brittanie! I should have gotten up this morning to workout, too, and I didn't either. Maybe you can squeeze it in later today!

Brittanie- Maybe try some kind of dance workout video and maybe your LO's will dance to it too! Then you could work out with them right there.

Yeah I do the dance video workout around two to three times a week. (I vary from hip hop abs, to bellydancing) it's super fun because you can laugh at some of the moves you are doing, and when I do mine when Kiki is around she dances around with me thinking it's just dance time.

I weighed myself today and lost 1/2 a pound. The other day I weighed myself and I gained 3 so I don't know. I did measure today. My waist is the only thing that got smaller by about an inch. My hips are still the same. Didn't measure my bust today though. Legs and arms are pretty much the same.

I did cardio x last night, but didn't do the x stretch!

*** So ya I just realized that I weighed myself last week with workout clothes on and shoes. This time I didn't have all that on so no weight loss for me. I have gained!

Amy, that sounds like a ton of fun! And I bet Kiki thinks so, too!

Lisa, I'm sorry that the scale isn't cooperating with you I have never found it useful to weigh myself each week. There is just too much variability to really get a good idea. It sounds like you are working out a ton, so I'm sure it will continue to pay off in other ways, like changes in your measurements (yay for losing an inch on your waist ), or feeling more energy, or just being healthier! Don't get discouraged!

The number on the scale is always so discouraging for me. The measurements are the key. I strongly recommend taking measurements to anyone who is trying to get healthier. I didn't exercise as far as doing an actual workout today. I did end up working my tail off at work today though. We are having a huge sale at work and I ended up doing alot of physical stuff tonight. I'm going to count it! lol

I don't know why but anytime I exercise I feel like I eat like a pig. Anyone else?

I definitely do that, too, Lisa! I try to control myself but it usually doesn't work

I am being so BAD this week. It seems like everything else is a higher priority than exercising. UGH.

I did terrible tonight. I just went to a wedding and had a crap load of candy. I have a major sweet tooth and they had a little candy cart thing. It had those sweet tart suckers, m&m's, laffy taffy, strawberry & chocolate taffy, gum, jelly beans, some other kind of candy sticks and suckers, mints, marshmellows, etc. I feel like I have gained about 10 lbs after that. So much for working out. Not to mention the huge piece of cake I had, soda, punch, and wine. LOL I sound like a pig.

I did do an extra cardio workout yesterday, but couldn't finish the Ab Ripper X workout

I planned on doing the ab workout over tonight, but after what I just ate I don't think I will be able to.

So I did the ab workout and plyometrics workout last night. I am so sore today. I think the plyometrics workout might be the hardest.

Hopefully I burned off half of the candy at least!

Trying to decide if I want to do cardio x tonight too. I have arms and shoulders. I don't think that will be too bad, but I am sore. Oh yeah, I have abs again tonight too. I still need to work off everything that I ate yesterday. Not to mention I brought home a big ziplock back of those sweet tart type suckers.
