Hello,
Ok so I went to my regular family practice dr today to get check out because I was still bleeding 13 days post op . I had tiny bits of spotting right after the proceedure , that turned into slight ly darker blood by day 7 and was a full flow starting day 8 .. The DR checked and I was not tender, he said that my cervix was closed and he suspects that it is just a really early period .. Has anyone ever gotton such an early period so soon after a D&C or miscarriage .. He said that it is not normal but that everyone is different and because my babies died more then two weeks b4 the d&c that it coudl be a messed up early period .. he advised waiting till I see OBGYN to make sure all is well b4 I try to ttc again but said I can take baths and exercise.. he did not seem to think the bleeding was a problem.,., what do you guys think.. could it be a super freaky period? I am waiting at least 4-5 weeks to TTC again for my lining to build up but was just wondering what you guys thought, thanks

I honestly have no idea & I think I'd wait to see what an OB said. It isn't usual to have AF that soon. I know my OB said no using tampons or BDing for 2 weeks after the D&C. HTHs. *hugs*

I would put a call out to the Dr that did your surgery. And let him know you are still bleeding/spotting. While every one is different. I have heard of ladies having some bleeding after ward. Sometimes it is retained tissue.. and with out an U/S.. they can not just look and say everything is ok. Just put a call into your OB.. HUGS

I agree with Kary about calling the doctor that did your D&C. It technically can't be considered a period until 2-3 weeks with NO bleeding. So this is bleeding from the D&C, and you should be seen by someone more familiar with the procedure. Good luck!

Same here, call the doctor that did the surgery. Even if just to give your piece of mind.
