I am having the hardest time with my chart! I never have 3 hours of solid sleep. I either have to wake up to use the washroom, or I just wake up and roll over to go back to sleep. My DH works at 5AM, so he wakes me up around 4:45 to kiss me.

Today I took my temp around 6 AM, when I randomly woke up. I put it on my chart, and I am hoping it is ok, I had only been asleep for 1hr and 15 minutes but I didn't "get" up then, just rolled over and kissed DH.... Every night it is a similar situation... Yesterday I took my temp at 9AM, after a good 4 hours, but aren't you supposed to take it the same time everyday?

I wish this wasn't so complicated...

Keep your thermometer next your bed.. If it does not have a recall.. put a pen and paper. When DH wakes you up at 445... temp and write down the temp.. if the thermometer has recall.. just write it down when you do get up. You are suposed to take it at the same time.. I work shifts so I never tempt at the same time. I always had at least 3-4 hours sleep. Ever month I got crosshairs and a shift spike.. that correlated with a + OPK....

Is it more important to take it the same time everyday or to get 3-4 hours of sleep? I can't do both...

3-4 hours is more important... Sorry I took it as you were being woke up by DH... and than going back to bed and not getting the a full 3 hours after that...

I do get woken up by DH. I go to bed around 11PM and I wake up around every 2 hours all night.... Usually I just roll over and go back to sleep, but I don't know if that is enough to effect my temps...

I also just started and I'm having the same problem. Even when *something* doesn't wake me up, sometimes I just randomly wake up for no reason. I've been doing it after 3-4 hours of sleep rather than the same time every day, but they're looking all over the place, so I have no idea if it's working right.

Good luck!
