I am on CD 12, my period ended on CD 9. My cycle's are usually *really* long (30-40 days). So I don't usually O until around CD 20-ish. However, I've been having significant stabbing like pains that stop me in my tracks periodically throughout the day. Now, I had these types of pains when my period came back after DD but chalked it up to my cycle starting again after almost 2 years (DD was 9, almost 10 months when AF came back). BUT, when I got the pains it was a few days before AF started. My body likes to do wierd stuff - so yeah. The only other time I've felt pains like this is when I've been pregnant (either with DD or when I m/c recently) and chalked it up to dehydration/uterus stretching. But, I highly doubt I could have gotten pregnant in the last 12 days considering 9 of which I was bleeding. So yeah...any ideas?

It could be a small cyst that is causing the pain. Does it feel like stabbing near your ovaries? I hope you feel better soon!

Hmmm...I had an u/s in March when I had the m/c. No cysts noted - ovaries looked perfect. Then again, we have a family history of fibroids. I would say the pain STARTS near my cervix and goes up towards my right ovary area if that makes any sense what so ever!

I will be going for my annual next month, so I suppose if the pain keeps up I'll mention it.
