Everyone heard that story of " When my friend was pregnant she had blah blah blah " But Are they reeaaallly common. For example. during my M/c . everyone said " You;re fine my aunt/friend/cousin/neighbor had her period through her whole pregnancy!" now seriously how common are these things?? So here is my mini vent. If you guys REALLY know how common these things are plleaassee let me know and you guys can also add on , i'm sure i forgot a few

1. You can be pregnant and not have symptoms

Everyone Says this but i don't know how common this really is!

2. All pregnancy symptoms aren't the same in different pregnancies

i've only been pregnant once but everyone says that theres a big chance it wont feel the same the next time , true??

3. If You get a BFN , theres a chance u can still be pregnant

everyone says "too early" or " late ovulation or something" but i honestly believe for the most part BFN is a BFN

4. Period symptoms and Pregnancy symptoms can be the SAME

A lot of times when you read things it says that you can confuse pms for pregnancy , but my period feels the same every month , so wouldnt my pregnancy feel different?

What do YOU guys think. And Be honest Please the majority not the minority!

I don't know about the first one, but yes, the last three are very true. I've been pregnant 3 different times, and while there were definite similarities, there were definite differences too. Just like every baby is different, every pregnancy is different. I NEVER get a bfp until my period is late. Even with the most sensitive tests, there's a possibility you don't yet have enough hormone in your urine to show up, and when you ovulate DEFINITELY has a huge impact on it. And I feel pregnant every month. Actually with each pregnancy the more my pms has felt like pregnancy. It's pretty irritating.

Well, similarities is that I was very very very sick all three times. That's apparently just how I do pregnancy. With both girls I spotted all through the first trimester, but I didn't with Patrick. Things I craved with one pregnancy were food aversions in another. With Patrick I got major major headaches. With Erin I struggled with urinary tract infections and really bad acid reflux. With Cora I really swelled, and I didn't with either of the other two. With Patrick I actually stopped throwing up for nearly 2 months in the 2nd trimester, which was amazing. If I were to characterize each with just a couple words, my first (Cora) would be just the terrible sickness, my second (Erin) would be terrible reflux (which may have had to do with the two pregnancies so close together and being so sick), and my third (Patrick) would be migraines.

I can say that my Aunt was pregnant and didn't know she was until she was 6 months along, I know it sounds like one of those stories LOL. Also my great Grandmother had her period the whole time and when she want to the doctor they thought she was growing a tumor and when they went to operate they found my Uncle Lenny ( mind you this was before U/S) My personal experience with these is that they are true. My first pregnancy the only symptom I had before 8 weeks was sore breasts and being tired and I always told my husband that AF was one her way because that is what it felt like. My second pregnancy I was sick to my stomach right at the beginning. My belly bloated so bad I looked like I was already seven months pregnant but my breast were not tender and I only had some dull cramping. I don't know about the BFN as this is the first cycle I have ever tested before AF was due. I am due today and got a BFN so if I get a positive tomorrow I will let ya know LOL

I hadn't ever had that before my first pregnancy, it was something that showed up when I became pregnant. Thing is breasts change SO MUCH when you become pregnant (especially a full term one), and they don't necessarily go back to the way they were beforehand. For example, my areolas became very dark and got larger and that has never gone back. So the veins in my chest became more visible with my first pregnancy, but then stayed visible after the fact. So yours may become veiny again when you become pregnant again, but you might not be able to use that as a definite because they may also when you aren't but at different times of your cycle when your hormones fluctuate.

Well about the first one... I didn't really have symptoms. Yes, AF stopped but other than that you wouldn't have known I was pg. I might have been a little more tired but not really & not much. I've been pg twice & with both I never got sore BBs, morning sickness, or anything really. I just hope it stays that way with future pregnancies.

That's all I can say/comment on.

1. You can be pregnant and not have symptoms

I think everyone gets symptoms eventually. It is possible to not really have symptoms until around 7 or 8 weeks.

2. All pregnancy symptoms aren't the same in different pregnancies

I think you have a lot of similar symptoms and some original symptoms. I seriously doubt that you'll find a mom whose pregnancies were all EXACTLY the same...

3. If You get a BFN , theres a chance u can still be pregnant

Some of the ladies her (me included) test around 9 DPO, at that point it could be too early and a BFN could become a BFP. However most tests taken at 14 DPO are accurate (either BFP or BFN) There are exceptions though...

4. Period symptoms and Pregnancy symptoms can be the SAME

This is VERY true. For example, my boobs hurt EVERY cycle, BFP or not. I feel a little more "yucky" when I am pregnant, but for the most part it's the same symptoms, just more intense when preggers.

With my first pregnancy my only symptom was very tender breasts. This time, there hasn't been any breast changes. Also I swore that AF was on her way as all the signs were there (cramping the day before she was due) - I only tested to make sure that I could have a big drink. I was shocked to get a BFP!

I have been pregnant 5 times.. My living son.. I had m/s once a day.. than felt fine. With my three losses... With my first... I was late had no symptoms. we had just started trying.. tested got a light BFP... I started to m/c within a two days. My Second loss... I was so nausous... and my boobs... HURT, tired (i could sleep when ever!!!) . That pregnancy was lost due to a chromosomal issue. My third loss... again no real syptoms.. (after my second loss... Sore bbs became the norm after Ovulation.. along with some nausea.. very confusing!!) My 5 preg.. (curently 25 1/2 weeks.. with twins) Bbs.. were sore.. but never really "HURT".. I have continusly nausous... Less tired than my second loss...

After my three losses... or should I say after each loss.. my body changed. I would have different Af "signs".. My AF was different some were just a heavy and crampy as my early m/c's... BBs.. were sore after ovulation, more veiny than they had been before, my breasts changed, (color wise) And I was never pregnant when I thought I was.

HUGS.. I wish their was an easy answer!!!

1. You can be pregnant and not have symptoms

This is another one of "those stories"; a friend of mine and also my best friends sister didn't find out she was pregnant until she was almost 6 months along!! She was used to not having regular periods because of a hormonal problem so didn't think of it and obviously didn't have any other symptoms. She told her mom at some point that she was feeling it "bubbling" in her stomach and her mom suggested she take a test. Ultrasound then confirmed that she was about 6 months pregnant!!

1. You can be pregnant and not have symptoms
I always know right away, even before I test. I am super tired, crying a lot, and my gums bleed when I brush my teeth. I can get a BFP at 9 or 10 DPO.

2. All pregnancy symptoms aren't the same in different pregnancies
This is my 4th pregnancy (1 living child) and they have all been different.

3. If You get a BFN , theres a chance u can still be pregnant
That happens, never for me but for a lot of my family that ovulates late.

4. Period symptoms and Pregnancy symptoms can be the SAME
Not for me, although I am one of those freaky people that get a "period" the whole time I am pregnant. I bled some very 4 weeks or so until I delivered him.
