Reason Im asking, is.. ( I posted about this on PL board too)
I started taking wellbutrin probably a week or so ago and started feeling funny, as in hungover, foggy, exhausted but cant sleep, cant concentrate just weird.. is the best way I can describe it...So I quit taking the wellbutrin ( well the generic for it) after taking it for 2 or 3 days thinking the feeling would go away so now 3 or 4 days later Im still feeling "funny".. I dealt with these feelings years ago too and the weird feeling lasted for years than just woke up one day and realized I felt "normal" again.. Back than I went through blood tests, allergy tests, sleep studies and everything came back normal.. Ive dealt with the anxiety to an extent with the tightning in my chest and getting panicky every once in a while and right now Im dealing with the tightening in my chest as well but dont know if its just because Im freaking out over how Im feeling.. I started feeling crazy until I did a google search and found boards upon discussion boards with people experiencing the same ( havent been able to find people that have been cured of it though) All I know is I cant deal with this... Ugh, Ive just been sitting here in my house not wanting to leave.. I left earlier to run some errands and I just felt so disoriented the whole time.. grrr
So you ladies that have dealt with anxiety, depression does any of this sound familiar to you? Or am I just losing my mind...

I have an anxiety disorder and Paxil made me feel that way. Not long after I stopped taking it the "foggy" feeling went away. Now I don't take anything, I don't like the way any of them make me feel. I know the chest feeling, and then when you think you are crazy and people are going to think your crazy it just makes the anxiety attack worse. I am assuming since you tried wellbutrin that you talk to someone. I use things like meditation, deep breathing and DH is a tremendous help because he never thought I was nuts. He just lets me work through it. I hear that acupuncture can be a good non medical way to deal with it also. I would definitely talk to someone.

You're definitely not crazy. I've had anxiety and panic attacks for the better part of the last 10 years. It's definitely not fun. I also had severe PPD with DS and mild PPD with DD (because I knew what to look for the second time around). I took Effexor XR years ago, before we started ttc our first. Since then I've taken Zoloft. Even taking meds I still have issues. It's definitely a one day at a time kind of thing. I hope you're able to find someone that you trust that you can talk to. If it makes you feel better both of my parents were prescribed Wellbutrin to help them quit smoking a few years ago. Neither of them had any anxiety/panic attack issues before taking it. But it really did a number on both of them. My mom started getting feelings of paranoia and the chest tightening feeling, couldn't concentrate, had a really short temper and my dad had the chest thing, felt foggy, and couldn't sleep for weeks. Eventually they couldn't take it anymore and came off of the meds. It took quite a while for them to start feeling "normal" again. I hope you're able to find someone to talk to that you trust and something that will help you, because I know that feeling that way is one of the most helpless feelings in the world.

Thanks ladies!!! I called the doctors office and she said that was all normal.. but I think being that I only took it a couple days and havent taken it in like 4 it would b out of my system by now don't you think? I'm really just hoping the meds are the cause and not something else...
