I think I can afford my meds! So I was a little nervous about what Follistim would cost so I wanted to call the pharmacy & see if I couldn't get an idea. They did a test claim/run of my insurance & it came back...
Follistim (3 150 IU vials (I already have 5 at home so I only need about 3 more according to the RE))... $40
HCG trigger (Pregnyl, Novarel)... $4

So $44 total!

Oh & she wanted to run it just to see what 10 vials would cost to see if I had what she called a "Standard Deduction" and it came back for 10 vials... $40 so I have a Standard Deduction, which as I understand it means that no matter how many vials I NEED, I'll pay $40 & the insurance pays the rest.

I can't tell you how excited I am. I was so nervous about the price. Thank you Lord!!! Praise Your Holy Name! He ALWAYS provides & I want to shout it to the world!

That is great news!!! The meds are so expensive and I am happy to hear your insurance is picking up most of the cost. Very exciting news.
