I was on this board a bit when i had my first loss in February and it looks as though it might be happening again. My number only went up a tiny tiny bit, nothing near the amount needed to double. I also started spotting, which i have a feeling will turn into bleeding either tonight or tomorrow. From the second i got my positive test last week i was freaking out that something like this would happen again and low and behold it did. My question is to those ladies who have had multiple losses, how do you continue on? I have some pretty bad depression to start with and this is only going to make it worse( i am seeing a doctor regarding medication next week). How do you keep trying after this has happened multiple times?
I know i want a child of my own and very badly, but i almost think that starting the adoption process might be a better move for me own well being right now. Im lost and not sure what to do.

I am so sorry Holly. Multple losses is so incredibly hard. Its one devastation after another. I will say that if this is your second loss I would start to inquire about getting some testing done so that you may be able to move forward without the fear of more losses. Hang in there and know that we are all here for you. Most of the ladies on this board are dealing with more than one loss. I myself have had three. Non of them is easier than the others...but try to keep moving forward. Adoption is also a wonderful prospect. I can't speak as a parent who adopted, but I am can speak as an adopted child. Good luck and keep up with us...we can all lend support and love....

HUGS I am so sorry for your loss, and the posiable second loss. I have had three losses. Most Drs wont start tesing until you have had three losses. But ask anyway.. I just want to prepare you that your Dr might not start testing. You ask how do we go on.... Our want for a baby out weighs our fear of another loss... HUGS

I'm so sorry hun! I hate that you're going through this again. I remember when we lost ours around the same time last time and talked, so if you ever wanna talk feel free to pm me. I'll listen if you just need to vent. And to trying again...believe me, it took me ALOT to try to get up the bravery to try again. We waited a few months and decided to go ahead and try again. Again, I am so sorry. I really hope that you don't m/c again.
