I didn't want to post a thread just for "hey, I'm here too."
Right now I'm waiting because 1) I need to get my dental work finished before I start throwing up again, and 2) DH isn't on the same page as me. So....I wait. And I really don't want to.
So how is everyone doing?

But we love our me threads . Or I do at least .
Waiting is the worst.
I am doing ok, but your post of the link faces of m/c was so sad and actually brought all my fears back up. I guess its a good thing I am waiting. Soooo not ready.

I think a general chat thread would be good cause then we can chit chat about whatever, and have the main area for our concerns and other topics.
I'm good today. DH and I had a chat last night about babies and we're waiting till after a trip in October we have planned to make a decision. We're using the Pull and Pray method right now and an "oopsie" wouldn't be unwelcome

We're going to the new Harry Potter World in Florida. I'm hoping it's our last trip for a while, IYKWIM. We're only going for 4 days, but it'll be a nice get away.

Oh that sounds fun! And I totally get hoping it's your last for a while. I don't blame you at all, and I hope it IS your last for a while!
Is it because I'm ovulating today that I'm having such a hard time with wttc right now?

Pull and pray is how I ended up here and it was only once.
Dh has no problem making me wttc. It's a good thing he is in charge of that dept. or I'd be trying already.
I hope its your last trip for awhile too. Sounds like tons of fun and a great distraction.

OMG!! I love Great Danes and would love to have one, but we can't afford the food!! Once I read somewhere that they eat about 10 cups of food a day the idea went right out of my head. It would be a really long time till I got one (I still want one, just can't right now).
My days at home are getting very boring. I need to find something to do to make the time go, but it's been so hot here, that I don't want to move from the couch.

Me too! Even though I keep saying I need to get my teeth done before I can get pregnant...which is true...if DH weren't against ttc right now I WOULD be.
I want a great dane too! They're such beautiful dogs and I've met several and all the ones I've met have had great personalities.

Yeah they eat about $300 in food a month . But they are so amazing. And it will be a good family trip/vacation if it works out.

LOL kids are so helpful .
Doesn't look like WY will pan out. I will keep searching like a mad woman . Seriously want to just run out and buy the first one I see . But I know the cost of that in a year or two when the health starts to fail and I can't take that chance.
How is everyone tonight?

Sorry Jess. I hope you find your great dane puppy soon.
Brittanie, The quiet time seemed nice, but when it's too early, can you really enjoy it?
Today, DH and I are going fishing. It's going to about 100 degrees out today and hopefully being out on the water will be much cooler. I slept like crap last night so it should make for an interesting day.

Jess, I hope that you find a puppy soon!
Steph, you're right, it's hard to enjoy it when you'd rather be sleeping. As for fishing, make sure you wear sunscreen!! Water reflects the sunlight so it's like being hit by double and you burn much faster/worse.

My weekend was good. Not so much for DH though. We went fishing Saturday and he got sea sick. He wound up spending the whole trip in the cabin of the boat sweating and trying not to vomit. I felt so bad for him. I caught 4 bluefish and 1 porgy. Time to look up some recipes!! Then yesterday we took a ride out to SouthHampton, the uppity part of Long Island and we looked at some multi million $$ homes that we will never be able to afford. I enjoy doing that sometimes. Then we went bowling last night and DH pulled a muscle in his back and is still in pain from it. I feel so bad for him. All that pain and he only won 1 game, we played 4. Poor guy.

Half baked? I am sorry I don't know your name and I couldn't find it anywhere in your siggy. I noticed in your signature your diabetes blinkie. Do you have a type one diabetic running around your house? I have two of them. My second daughter Megan who is now 13 and my baby Skyler who is 1. They were both diagnosed before they turned one. It's always nice to find other moms with diabetic kids and find that common ground.

Steph, sorry that your husband got sick. Are you sure it was sea sickness though? I thought motion sickness resolved itself fairly quickly after being still for a while.
