I'm sorry ladies, I know I asked this on Kelly's thread I think but I can't find it and can't remember.
What days do you take soy isoflavones, and what dosage?
I thought she said days 3-7 and 80mg?
anything else special I should know when taking soy, and anything else special I should be doing?
(just waiting for AF to show I'm 9DPO so probably another 5 days or so if I didn't get luck this month with a BFP!)

You can take the soy CD1-5, 2-6, 3-7, or 5-9 (and I would guess 4-8 would work too ). Your first month you should probably start with 80 mg or 120 mg each day and then increase if you feel like you need to the next month. Good luck!
I hope you get your BFP and don't need the soy!

Hi,
No, I never took clomid. I didn't seem to have any trouble getting PG either time but has a miscarriage at 8 weeks along about 6 weeks ago because of a subchorionic hemorrhage that abrubted the placenta and killed the baby.
I just wanted to increase my chances since I am almost 35 and would like another baby as soon as possible!
Thanks!

I am 41 so I understand about age

With that done... I would say take 80mg 1 time a day cd 3-7. I take them at night as my side effect is hot flashes.
I have taken them 4 times and each time ovulated earlier than normal so I would start doing OPK's after AF stops just so you don't miss it!

You don't need a prescription. I got mine at Walmart. Good luck if you decide to try it!

I just picked some up at walmart for my next cycle. It took me forever to find it. Since i only have one tube I am hoping the soy will make me O on each side, giving me a greating chance of getting prego.

Okay ladies, I feel a little "stupid"...but what does this soy do? Does it make you ovulate early? Or make it more likely to ovulate?
We have not started trying yet, but I feel like I would like to increase my chances however I can. Is it related to miscarriages at all? I am just confused...

It works like clomid. From what ive read if you take CD 2-6 you will have more eggs, CD 5-9 you will have better quality eggs. It can move ovuation fwd a couple of days for those who O late or of LPD. I plan on taking it when my cycle comes back with the hope of O on both sides since I only have one tube.
