Ok so this is my first month using the monitor and I have a question.... Past 2 days I have been spotting so I know I dont count those but AF is here today... Just really showed at 10:30AM so my question is I would technically say this is CD 1 but since Ive already missed my FMU so to speak for the monitor to be set CD 1 how do I do this?? Is CD1 then not really until tomorrow? Im taking Clomid CD3-7 also so Im trying to keep it all in sync with one another... Any help, tips, suggestions would be appreciated...

BTW Im at work so I cant go set it now as its at home.. Im normally up at 6AM so I would set it around that time..

Hi Becca, I would count today as cd1. Tomorrow morning when you set the monitor, you hold down the m button and it will move to cd2 for you. You can do that up until cd5. There is instructions in the booklet to tell you how to do it as well.

It also depends on when you want the time set for too...I didn't start to bleed till later in the day on my AF and I didn't set my CD till the next day...GL and I hope it works for you...It worked on my first month trying it

It tells you in the instruction booklet that if AF shows later in the day, after the testing window has passed, to set it the next day and that should be CD1. But you can also just hold the m button down and make it CD2. I've done it both ways. Since you're on the clomid I would make the monitor show whatever cycle day you're counting tomorrow as for that.

I'm always worried that I'll do something wrong and that it'll cost me my bfp and I've had it for 5 years.

You'll do fine...once you get the hang of it, it's really easy...I read the book like 4 times before I used it lol...I only used mine for one month, but I actually enjoyed it...It was always fun to get up and pee on the stick and wait to see what the monitor said...Good luck with it!!

I agree it's a lot of fun waiting to see what the monitor is going to say. It also helps feed the POAS addiction.

Dang I don't remember my booklet saying anything about changing it to CD2 for me if I held the button down long enough. Weird! Maybe I have an old defective one, that would be my luck

Hey Becca, if af showed later in the day I would say mark tomorrow as cd1, but by tomorrow morning when you set it, you will already have been bleeding for 20 hours! Thats close enough to a day I would think! Thats just would I would do though. I agree with what Lori said about using whatever cycle day you are using for the clomid. Also ... If you wanted to try charting this cycle, fertility friend would mark today as cd1, I believe. I added charting to using my monitor because even using the monitor, it doesnt confirm ovulation, just lets you know you have surged. (The girl at customer service informed me of that! ) With charting, it cant predict O but it does confirm that you have O'ed once it sees the temperature shift. Its really not hard, if you want to give it a go!

Thanks Tobi! I went ahead and marked yesterday at CD 1 since I started about 10am and it was full force! BLAH! So this morning I got up at 6AM and set it. I held the lil "m" button and set today as CD 2. I did it so I could keep it straight with the Clomid... I may see about charting temps too! I didnt think I could do it but dosent hurt to try right?!
