I've always been a loyal FRER and CBE digi girl. I joined JM when I was already pregnant with my DD, and my eyes were opened up to Answer, ICs, and Dollar Store tests, blue dye tests (and their curse), etc. When I first joined in Feb08 I had no idea that ICs existed and thought that if tests came from the Dollar Store, how good can they be? As time has gone on I've learned a lot about these different tests and their reliability from different boards here on JM (including lurking on this board). At the time I didn't have the need for them, but now that I do I'm wondering what's better:

FRER or Answer? I know that FRER was always the go to test, but now that they've got two different wrappers and added that stupid indent line many people are making Answer their #1.

Dollar Store or IC? This one I know nothing about. I bought a bunch of ICs from Ebay when we started ttc this cycle, but I've never used a Dollar Store test. I know some people swear by them.

So, what do you think?

I think it is honestly a personal preference! I am a FRER girl all the way even with the new tests but still have some IC's hanging around for when that urge comes to POAS!

I have to say I have never used the new FRER... I had bought a stash off of EBAY when they changed to the new style... After I got my last BFP I did buy Answer.. and I really LIKED them! They are made by the same people... and they seemed to be the "old style" FRER.

I've always used Answer cause they were cheaper the FRER and then they turned out to be more reliable anyways.. Then I got a coupon for EPT and I actually got another one which I am going to use, and EPT's were really good. I didn't ever get a evap on them. That is also the test I used when I found out I was pregnant with my son.. I love the clear blue easy digi's though.. I love to take one just to see the word...
