I am desperate to test early and my general "rule" is to wait until AF is a week late. However, I'm dying to know if my flu like sypmtoms and heart burn are related to pregnancy or not. I O'ed around the 23-24, DTD on the 24 so I'm hopeful. However, that only puts me at about 8 DPO. I'm not sure any HPT would be accurate at this point. I think all I have is a clear blue digi. I'd rather wait until I am hoping to save that for the classic "BFP" picture for scrapbooking purposes. Any ideas which one(s) I should pick up and how soon I could test and get an accurate result? Thanks

My suggestion is First Response Early Result or Answer brands. You can find both at Wal-Mart and imo the best out there.

I would wait another day or two but many girls in here have gotten + tests at 8 and 9 dpo.

Good Luck!

I was able to get a super faint bfp on a FRER and Answer last night at 9dpo. This morning (10dpo) I tested again with both types of tests and the lines were darker. I used a digi late this afternoon when DH came home from work and it came up positive. Good luck with whatever test you choose! I hope you get your bfp!

THanks
I'm certainly trying to wait as long as possible because my cycles are kinda wierd. What I can read online implantation should just be occuring give or take a few days. So I'm trying to just keep in mind I have been exposed to a tummy bug w/ my kid's at work. But really...it doesn't feel like a typical tummy bug if that makes any sense. I figure if I pretend its just a tummy bug, I can hopefully either start AF or HCG will have plenty of "doubling time" to get a pretty positive at the end of the week.

I would wait a little longer.. I didn't test until Af was a no show.. Good brands are Answer or EPT.. Even though EPT is a blue dye I have never gotten an evap on it.. It always gives me faint lines. Good luck hun..

I agree about Answer or First Response, but make sure to get the ones that say Early Result. Good luck!

I've gotten really early positives with First Response tests. If you can wait it out, they also give darker lines in my opinion. I like to see a dark line so I don't worry as much. Good Luck!
