I'm starting to cramp really bad...Is that normal for 24 hours after a miscarriage? My appointment is in a couple hours, I hope they don't tell me I need a D&C ugh...I'm so worried something is wrong now....I'm not bleeding heavy at all, but every once in awhile I pass a blood clot, but they aren't big either.

Something is wrong, but I can't see any dr today. I'm so upset right now....The Doctor I was supposed to see today is not in the office, he's at labor and delivery and won't be in today....The only doctor they have in, is the horrible awful doctor I refuse to see....I hate him so much i'd rather die a slow death in my own house than let him touch me...So then the nurse called back and told me that I need to go to the ER...Well that's not possible either becasue I have my kids and no one to watch them...Our ER is so horrible i would probably be in till midnight...My husband is working out of town and can't come home right now...I started crying and yelling at the nurse...I've had nothing but bad luck with this office, and I regret letting them talk me into staying...I'm not bleeding super heavy, I don't think i'm hemorrhaging at the moment...Luckily I know what that looks like, and hopefully I can wait till tomorrow morning when I have another appointment...So here I sit, cramping bad, I feel like i'm having another miscarriage...I just took an 800mg Ibprofen left over from my D&C....Hopefully that will help, and maybe i'll be lucky to pass any left over tissue on my own...I don't want another D&C, I want this to be over with.

Hi, with my second miscarriage I thought I had passed everything and then had a ton of painful cramping the next day. It turned out I still had tissue left that needed to come out and the cramping was my uterus working to get it out.

baby7, did the tissue come out on it's own, or did you have to have D&C? I'm still cramping really bad, and I hope I pass the left over tissue...I'm pretty sure that's what's going on.

Even though I passed the baby and the cramping let up, I still had cramping, like a bad period, for a couple days and continued to pass clots. I couldn't see anyone because it was a weekend but by Monday, the cramping had stopped.
If you want to be seen right away, call another OB office and see if they'll see you. I know they don't know you but that is what I did. I didn't have an OB near by and didn't want to wait. They were really nice and maybe even more concerned because they didn't know my history. I just told them I hadn't seen them before but needed to get in because I was having a miscarriage and the nurse got me in in an hour.
I hope it lets up and you feel better soon.

I'm so sorry you're going through this, Megan. I hope the cramping lets up soon and that it's all just part of the m/c process. I will be keeping my fingers crossed that you don't need a D&C. Please, if your bleeding gets heavy enough to make you nervous, find a way to get to the ER! I hope the cramps let up soon!

Thanks for asking....I'd say around 3 or 4pm and after taking some 800mg ibprofen, and lots of water the cramping got better...I'm still getting a pain here and there, but at least it's not that intense constant cramp/contraction feeling...My bleeding has been on and off all day, not sure if it's normal or not...I'm going in for an appointment at 8 am so I hope they tell me something...I just hope that everything passed and I don't need a D&C...I did pass lots of clots today, maybe that was left over tissue? I hope ti find out tomorrow.
