We left for the beach yesterday and guess who decided to tag along..AF! While i'm happy to see her I am concerned with the amout of blood. I am having to change a super tampon every hour. Is this amount of bleeding normal after a D&C?

Everyone's body is different but for me after my mc it was very very heavy and alot of clots - which I was told was normal. I hope her stay is very short! What a way to start a vacation. BLAH!

Mine was really heavy after my D&C but if you are worried about it I would call the doctor. It won't hurt anything to just call and ask and they might want to see you and make sure everything is ok.

I don't have any answers for you, but I hope that it gets lighter for you soon! I had my D&C a week ago, and leave for the beach also in 4 weeks... We'll see if I'll be in a similar boat. I hate when AF shows up on vacation.
