Hello all! I had my second d & c on July 19 at about 8 weeks pregnant, but the baby stopped around 5 weeks (blighted ovum). My recovery has been good this time and I only had light bleeding spotting the first 14 days. My doc said we should wait til my first af to ttc (but mostly for dating purposes). We decided that we don't want to wait to prevent at all. I am scared that I am going to have a third loss, but also willing to give it a shot.

Has anyone else decided not to wait after your loss to ttc? My doc seems to strongly feel it won't happen until your body is ready. After my first loss we waited until my first normal AF that didn't show up for 3 months and got pregnant right away only to have the second loss. So I'm skeptical about waiting.

Sorry to hear about your loss...I didn't wait after my miscarriage to try again...I had my D&C on April 6th, a 2nd D&C on May 8th and I got pregnant just a month later...I had another loss, but I don't think it was due to getting pregnant too soon....My doctor told me that I could try right away and that my body wouldn't get pregnant if it wasn't ready and that's how I felt too...Good luck and I hope it doesn't take too long for you.
