Just wanted to post this here... to let you ladies know what is happening. A quick update.
Yesterday turned out to be my "surprise" baby shower.... With this being said, I woke up very bad nausea... The candle Party (Baby shower) was to start at 130. So We left here at about 12.. since it is almost an hour drive to where it was being held. My DH dropped me off at my BFF's house to go... When we got there I had to pee.. When I went to the bathroom.. my panty liner was soaked with clear fluid. I had noticed on friday more vaginal wetness than I have had. So we leave.. and "SURPRISE".... I get a water and start drinking. I run to the bathroom before we open gifts.. now my underpants are soaked... it takes about 2 hours of opening gifts... I go to the bathroom again... now my capris are soaked through... We get everthing packed up.. and I tell DH. I am not sure if my water is leaking. So we head home. I get home and get changed. Put on fresh pants, panties, and panty liner. Then I start to contract. The are about 3-5 min apart these are low.. felt in my back, NOT A BH!!!! I try to lay down and drink a bottle of water, still comming. I come back out and tell DH we need to go. I am now scared that my water is leaking.. and I am in PTL!!
We get to the hospital. They take me right up to LDRP I get hooked up and the contractions are regular coming every 5 mins. They do a quick swab to see if my water broke.. it looks to be negative. Then my Dr comes in.. he wants to check right at the cervix, and then also check to see if I have any dilation. The swab again comes back negative, he checks the fern test, negative, and no dilation.... YEAH!!!!!! Now time to stop the contractions. First they start by having me drink 2 big glasses of water.. I gulp them down.. no change so the first shot of Terbutaline, YEA!! contractions stop...... for a whole 15 min.. then they start right back up. Second shot Terbutaline in.... seems to throw them into a more irregular and they start to become less intense now. My Dr comes back in.. and says ok were going to let you go home, REST, REST, REST, DRINK, DRINK, DRINK... for the next 24 hours.. He dosen't want to label this as preterm labor yet.. since he thinks it was just too much yesterday and being a little dehydrated.
We get home last night at almost 3 am... I go to the bathroom.. and I have lost part of my mucus plug ( I know this could be from the internal..) But it was just so "sick to my stomach feeling)......
I am not ready for these girls to come yet... I want them to come.. and me be able to take them home..
T & P PLEASE!!!!

Tons of thoughts and prayers coming your way! PTL is really scary! Come on girls, we know you want to meet your Mommy and Daddy, but you have to stay baking for at least 5-6 more weeks.

My thoughts and prayers are with you Kary. I want to tell you that I had my girls at 30 weeks, and they are just perfect. We had some scares, of course ... did they give you the steroid shot to help the babies lungs develop? Or are they waiting to see if this continues? Good luck hun, I have confidence that everything is going to be ok ~hugs~~

Stay put girls!! There are tons of people out there waiting to meet you, but we can wait a few more weeks! Now you listen to your mother and don't go anywhere just yet!

Did they send you home with pills to take to keep the contractions away? When I was pregnant with Dylan I had contractions at around 30 weeks. I had to take pills everyday to keep them away... I forgot what they were called, it was 18 years ago Then to top it all off he ended up being 2 weeks late and had to be induced. He is still a comedian!
