Well, I know when I ovulated because I had a positive opk. So I should have had AF yesterday or today and nothing. No spotting or anything, just cramping which I've been doing for a week. I tested yesterday and not even a squinter, just a white line. I doubt I'm pg because I always got a pos test by 12 dpo. Is it normal for AF to come later than 14 days after a positive opk?

Positive OPKs do not always mean that you have ovulated. All they track is the LH surge when the body is preparing to O, but sometimes you get the surge and then don't O- they aren't reliable. Are you temping at all? Maybe you ovulated later than you think.

Nope, not temping. I just had ewcm and O pains so I checked with an opk. The test line was darker than the control line then for 7 days after the line got lighter and lighter. I know that you can have anovulatory cycles but I thought you still got AF. My cycles are irregular by a few days but I always got AF 12-14 days after I had ewcm. I thought maybe the mc did something to mess it up.

With my mc I did not get a postive home test despite the fact that HCG levels where thru the roof. I think I had a faulty batch of tests. Can you try with a different brand?

No, I'm sure I'm not pg and don't want to buy more tests. I was using frer. I'm sure AF will show by tomorrow. I just thought you always had AF 14 days after O and today is 15. I was just wondering if a mc could change that. If AF isn't here by tomorrow, I might buy another test. I'm impatient though and if I buy a test, I'll just waste it.

No you dont have to get AF 14 days after ovulation. It depends on the persons leteal phase. I would assume a miscarriage can change it.

You can ovulate on the day of a positive OPK or up to 2 days later. Then the length of the luteal phase (from O to AF) can vary between people. They can be longer than 14 days. Mine used to be 16 days. So both of those factors could be involved in AF seeming to be late. I would test again if you don't get AF in the next few days.

It is also possible to get a positive OPK and O signs but not O. But right now I wouldn't jump to that conclusion.
