DH and I just moved out of state, and we get some fertility coverage with his new insurance. I'd been waiting to call an RE until he started his new job because we had NO coverage with our old jobs. So I called to make an appointment on Friday, thinking there would be a month or two wait for an appointment. And they scheduled me for next Monday, the 23rd !!!!!!!! Eeek!!!!!
Don't get me wrong, I am so excited to be able to move forward with fertility treatments, but I wasn't expecting that and I just kind of started freaking out. In my crazy head, all these thoughts are bouncing around- what if the treatments don't work? how much will everything cost? what if I don't agree with the way they want to do things? what if they are jerks (like so many of my doctors have been)?
So I figured maybe I could calm down a little if I heard from some of you ladies about what to expect at that first appointment. Anyone have stories or advice?

At my first appt we just went over my long medical history. He didn't do an u/s or pap or anything though I know most other ladies do have that done on their first visit. It took about an hour & I would recommend your DH coming if he can so that if you miss anything or forget you have a 2nd pair of ears. GL!
