Ok, so today was my first ultrasound to check and see how things are going in there. With my last two losses we knew by the six week ultrasound that things were very wrong. The good news today was that baby was measuring 6w0d...which is almost right on target and we got to not only see a strong heartbeat, but hear it as well...128 bpm...so that was great news! The bad news is that I definitely have a large bleed almost surrounding the baby. So I am on prometrium again, and restricted activity and will go back in 2 weeks for another ultrasound and check up. I hope and pray this little bean hangs in there. Sorry the quality of the photo isnt great....but baby bean is pretty small still....

Hi There and Congrats! That's great you had a strong HB and baby is measuring on time. I had a large subchorionic bleed with my second pregnancy too and unfortunately lost the baby at 8 weeks. I hope your outcome is much better!
What do they think the prometrium will do? I ask because I was never given any medication, just put on modified activity with no heavy lifting and pelvic rest.

Glad the baby looks good!!! I too had an SCH and lost the baby, but from everything I read the chances of having a baby with SCH are higher than the chances of having a miscarriage...GOod luck and I hope the bleed resolves itself and you have a H&H 9 months!

Yay, Julie! I'm so glad you got to see the baby and hear the heartbeat. How exciting!
Rest up, and try not to worry too much about the bleed. My SIL is pg right now, and had a bleed about a month ago that is almost fully resolved now. So it doesn't necessarily mean the worst!

Im praying baby bean stays strong and your bleed resolves. After all you've been through, would it really be too much to ask to have an uneventful pregnancy? I hope this pregnancy goes smoothly from here til EDD, with no more surprises!! ~~hugs~~
