Hi all, I just wanted to update on this. I was certain of the pregnancy. It's really hard to explain. I have eight children and now when I get pregnant I have day after symptoms, symptoms that are undeniable for me. Wish I understood how that could be but I don't, I just know that I have them and when I test it comes up positive. However, I can't seem to get a urine test to come up positive for me anymore. My husband was a phlebotomist for years, so we do a home blood test, that's how I get my results, and they are usually very stong.
I agree that my levels were extremely low, very discouraging. I did end up loosing that pregnancy as well, but was able to hold onto it for longer than the previous three miscarriages.
We are in the process of moving to Germany. As soon as we are settled we are going to talk to the Dr's and start trying again.
I normally do not use an OB, because I home birth, but most homebirth midwives in the states don't deal with conception problems, and I've never had much of an issue before. My midwife is the one who drew the blood test for me, so I would know my levels since I suspicioned a progesterone issue.
I'm looking forward to tracking down the issue with my body. I do not have short LP's, I have regular cycles. Ovulation occurs most of the time around CD day 11,12, or 13. Seems strange that I don't have any issues with my LP since my progesterone is that low. I never spot or anything like you would expect with low progesterone.
I think to some degree tracking down the problem could be ALMOST as exciting as actually getting to conceive and have a baby.
I'll keep everyone updated as time goes by.
