So I called my doctor's office and talked to the nurse...She looked up the ultrasound and agreed that it looks to be the subinvolution...Only one doctor was in this morning, which just happens to be the doctor I don't like and I don't trust...She talked to him and called me back...he said he agrees that I shouldn't have a D&C, but he doesn't think I should have any other treatment, except to just let it go and see what happens...I told the nurse that I know exactly what's going to happen, the same as last time and i've been saying this all along...So she called another doctor that was out delivering a baby and she agreed to not do anything....So I started to cry because I don't want to hemorrhage again, and I know it's going to happen, it's like reliving the weeks after my D&C...She said it's just bad luck that i've had this happen 2 times in a row? has anyone even heard of this? I mean I don't think it's anything that's that common, and for it to happen 2 times in a row to me is NOT normal...I've given birth 5 times now and I never had bleeding problems or hemorrhaging any time after either of my childrens births...So when the nurse called back I started to cry and insist that something has to be done...I can't just sit at home waiting to hemorrhage so they'll do something about it...I just want to start banging my head on the wall and pull my hair out, it's so frustrating deaing with this office, but I can't get in to see a new doctor till next month...They said I should follow up with an appointment in 2 weeks, which means the bleeding is going to pick up, and/or i'll get an infection, not to mention it's just prolonging this whole miscarriage thing and I can't move on...So she's going to have the doctor that wasn't in look through my chart and she's going to call me back this afternoon...So who know's what's going to happen...Maybe I should call the new doctor's office and beg for them to see me sooner? I'm going to be gone for the day, since we already had plans to take the kids to the fair, so I might not be able to do much about it till tomorrow.

*update*

first of all, the nurse at my doctor's office has been great...She's been going out of her way talking to doctors and trying to help me...I don't know what i'd do without her...So any way, she talked to a new doctor and she said she took a lot of time looking over everything and explaining things to her, when the other doctors didn't...She said it has to do with my arterial venous fistula...I guess that's in my uterus...That's what happened last time too...but she doesn't think i'm going to hemorrhage this time and she thinks it's going to heal on it's own...She thinks my hemorrhage was just triggered by my D&C last time...So that gives me a lot more hope...She said she doesn't recomend a D&C and it would make things worse...So I feel better having that explained...She also talked to the nurse about my clotting problem and really wants me to be seen by my new doctor soon so they can help me keep my next pregnancy, so the nurse is calling my new doctor trying to get me in sooner right now...I am also going to be getting some blood work today, and i'll probably have another ultrasound if I keep bleeding....she just called and said the new office will be calling and they are going to try to see what they do...So I am feeling better about things, and I hope hope hope that this bleeding stops soon.

I would call the new doctor for sure. Or go to my primary care doctor and have them figure out where the inflammation is coming from, it seems to be the root of the problem. You should have them test you for a variety of auto-immune problems. You don't need an OB for that, any doc can do it.

If the other doctor calls back and says that you should do nothing, then I think you should call the new doctor's office and explain what's happening and that you need an urgent second opinion. It is not right for your current doctor's office to be disregarding your concerns like this.

The nurse called me today at the fair and I couldn't hear her very well, so i'm going to be calling her in the morning...She talked to another doctor and this doctor (one i've never met) agrees not to do anything but watch me for now and give me an ultrasound in 2 weeks ugh...They also want me to get blood drawn tomorrow....I'm not feeling good today, and i'm not sure if it's related or not....I'm just frustrated and annoyed and I hope it starts resolving soon...I'll know tomorrow...From what I did hear, the new doctor agreed that it has something to do with the artery's in my uterus...I'll ask more questions tomorrow.

Megan, I'm glad they got back to you, but sorry it's not what you wanted to hear. For what it's worth, I would still call the new doctor and see if they can get you in for a second opinion. Good luck!

Megan I am so happy that nurse is being so helpful, and that the other Dr explained it all so well and is trying to get you in sooner. I hope you get to be seen earlier so you get closer to your baby you've been wanting.

just a quick update, i'm sure you all are sick of my problems lol...Any way, I hate to jinx myself, but yesterday I had no red blood, and it was light and sometimes it was almost like CM mixed with a little color, something I haven't had...It's so light I haven't been wearing a pad (They are starting to annoy me lol)....I'm only spotting when I use the bathroom, and so far this morning there was hardly anything there...I'm trying not to get my hopes up because even last time before I hemorrhaged there was a couple days where it stopped or was just light spotting...I need to go a couple days of nothing before I think it's healed...I'm keeping my fingers crossed though.

Another update...I got my blood work back, and I am anemic, so I need to start taking some extra iron...I had a feeling that I was since it's now been over 4 weeks since my bleeding has started...I'm also to have an ultrasound in about 3 weeks (the week of September 7th), even if i'm not bleeding they want me to have one just to see what's going on...It was pretty much my last time dealing with my old doctor's office since i'm seeing a new doctor on monday...The nurse was so nice, and she said she's been so worried about me, and she wants me to stay in touch...I told her for sure when I have another baby i'm going to bring it in to show them...I'm kind of sad that i'm leaving, since i've been there for so long, and I really like those two nurses (and my doctor, but he's not there anymore), but at the same time, I know it's for the best...It's not often you have people that care that much and go out of their way to help you, and that's what she's been doing for me all week.

Aw, Megan I wasn't sure what was going on with you recently again so I came to look! I'm so sorry that in addition to the m/c you had to deal with annoying doctors...but I'm so glad that the nurse there is helpful- makes me proud to be a nurse I hope the new doctor's office is able to sort everything out and you heal (physically at least) quickly. I hope you had fun at the fair!
