I have a question about progesterone levels. I read about people having low levels, how do you know what your levels are? My dr never mentioned progesterone so I have no idea what the deal is. Can someone explain?

Your dr has to order a progesterone test at 7 dpo... they take some blood & test it. HTHs.

Your progesterone can also be checked after ovulation. This will also see if you have ovulated. If you have a short LP, this could also be an indication of Low Progesterone. And if you do concieve when your Betas are drawn you should also have a progesterone level checked. (Thier is some controversy over low progesterone and M/C)..

Some Dr feel... Low progesterone causes m/c.. While other feel a non viable pregnancy will produce low progesterone. Hence causing the body to m/c. Depends on the Dr and his/her belief..
