Hello my name is Jennifer. After a lot of pandering back and forth I decided to join this ttc forum since I feel it's the best fit.

My husbands name is Eddy and we have 5 kids, Emma 11 (my stepdaughter), Teri 9 (also my stepdaughter), Alex 8, Genevive Forever 16 days old, and her twin Lillian now 1 1/2. I do not ovulate on my own, and the twins were conceived with the help of clomid. I am also a type 2 diabetic, which does complicate my pregnancies. For anyone who doesn't know my story, I lost Genevive in the NICU at 16 days old from a disease called NEC. There is a link in my siggy to my Genevive blog, though it is a bit raw at times since it is where I blog about my grief.

As for TTC we are ready to start clomid hopefully this cycle (two weeks about) but if not then next cycle. We did do one month a couple months ago, but didn't get a BFP and I had to stop to get my sugars a bit lower. With type 2 diabetes I can't get pregnant unless my sugars are close to a normal persons or it runs the risk of a lot of complications and birth defects. It is very tough keeping them that low, so it is a lot to juggle finding the right combination for a healthy pregnancy.

Thats all I can think of for now.

I'm Amanda. I've heard your story over on the SI board. I'm so sorry for the loss of your beautiful DD. I don't O correctly either & have used Clomid. One cycle of Clomid actually worked last year but unfortunately we had a m/c. Well, Clomid hasn't worked since so we've graduated from an OB & Clomid to an RE & injectables so hopefully we'll both be able to get pg soon!

Welcome! I'm sorry for your loss. I have type 1 diabetes so I know how difficult it is to get those blood sugars where they are supposed to be. I hope you get a BFP soon and aren't here long.
