Hi ladies!
So I was all excited (well, OK, it was really bittersweet) when I got AF on 8/7 after Matthew was born on 7/1. Now, I know it's probably common that cycles are out of wack afterwards (since I did give birth), but I'm on CD 24 with no O and still - OPK's. I usually O on CD 19. I've had what I swear is EWCM several times, but then it goes away. Anybody have experience with this? I'm really hoping my cycles regulate soon since we're going to be starting to TTC again soon.

Hi Jacque,

I wish I could advise you. After I had my daughter AF showed 4 weeks PP to the day (and I was BF), and then I started the pill at my 6 week check up, and took it for 4 months until we were ready to start thinking about TTC again. By the time I came off it, my cycles seem to be somewhat regular.

I hope your cycles regulate soon so you can TTC again. ((HUGS))

When I had Ella on October 14th, I got my first AF on November 16th...I usually O around CD 13, but I think that first cycle I didn't get a + OPK till CD 26, and then I got my next cycle on CD 36, when I usually have 28 day cycles...The next cycle after that I O'd on CD 13 and got pregnant, but since I O'd on a regular day I Think my Cycle was back to normal. I hope you O soon!!! I'm sure it will happen

I haven't had experience personally but have read in Taking Charge of Your Fertility that the EWCM could be due to your body gearing up to O but not actually Oing so it gears up again. Hopefully you'll O soon or your uterine will get so thick that it won't be able to sustain itself so it will shed & you'll have breakthrough bleeding I believe is what it is called... where you bleed but never Oed that cycle. GL!

I'm no help since I'm having the same thing happen. After my MC, I O'd on day 17. I'm on day 14 now and still stark white OPK's. I just keep checking everyday hoping something will show up. I've also decided that we're just going to have to DTD every other day until I get a positive OPK. Poor DH.

After the m/c I didn't O for the first cycle at all and had breakthrough bleeding. This is our second cycle, and I haven't been checking with OPKs or anything. Thought we'd try the TTC w/o charting and stuff. Now I'm wishing we had Because I really don't even know how many DPO I am! We had an ultrasound that showed a promising follicle, but we'll see. Good luck and hope you get a +

I was only 8 weeks along when I had my miscarriage last year and it took about 4 months for my body to regulate again. I usually have a 24 days cycle and they were anywhere from 29 - 36 days. I hope you o this month!
