Well, it's going to be longer than I thought.

I had a dental appointment last night. 2 more to go. Only problem is they couldn't get me in until October 5th for my next one. I was really hoping to get it all done by the end of September! And, stupid me, didn't schedule both my next at the same time. I'm going to call them back on Tuesday when I get back from Vegas (my brother's getting married on Saturday!!) and schedule the last one so I can make sure that I don't have that happen to me again.

On another note, my thyroid levels that I had drawn last week came back "underreplaced," so they had to readjust my dosage. My next draw is also Oct. 5th (I didn't do that on purpose, I realized it later. Both my doctor and dentist are in the same building, but one appointment's at 11am and the other's at 5:30pm). So I can't really ttc until we make sure my levels are stable. Thyroid levels that are wonky can put a woman at higher risk for miscarriage, and you ladies all know I'd like to avoid that at all costs if I can, so we wait.

Is there ever going to be a good time?

the waiting is the worst part. try to stay busy and it will pass time quicker. i'm sorry you have to wait at all!!! your time will indeed come!!!

Oh Brittanie, I'm sorry....before you know it it's mid September and then it's Oct.
Have you talked to Dh about TTC. I knwo you said that right now he was not on board yet...

That is too long to go undermedicated with your thyroid! Did they adjust your dose? And girl, I hate dental work! It seems like I always have something going on. And my teeth always feel worse after the work then they did before! Hope the month flies by. Just focus on getting ready for fall...getting your house decorated and such. That's what I'm trying to do. :/

Yeah, they adjusted my dosage. I've been on the new one since Tuesday, and already feel better. We're retesting on the 5th to see if we need to adjust further. And one of my cavities must have been really close to the gumline because my gums are TORN UP. Ibuprofin is my friend right now.

And DH doesn't really want to talk about a time for TTC until it's an actual possibility, which it isn't right now. So, we'll talk about it after my dental work is done and my thyroid is okay.

Oh, and AF was supposed to show today. And she didn't. But there's no way I'm pregnant because DH was out of town when I O'd. So unless he has super spermies that can break through a condom and live forever...lol We bd'd (with a condom) 8 days before ovulation and 4 days after. So...no clue what is going on, but I'm fairly certain pregnancy isn't a possibility for me.

October isn't that far away. By then your teeth and your thyroid will be all ready for you to start to TTC. But I know that the waiting sucks.

The waiting really does suck, Britannie, I know! We have our own "waiting" issues that I can't decide on...it's not fun! I hope the time passes quickly and when the time comes everything will be taken care of for you to have that sticky bean!
