So I've been using the cheap opks and when I started getting color on them, I pulled out the answer OPKs. The thing is, yesterday I got a positive on the cheapie tests and neg on the answer, both done at the same time. This morning I got a positive on the answer and neg on the cheapies. So which do I believe? I'm temping but my temps are all over the place.

I would personally go with the answer brand but I would BD as much as possible just to be sure. Hugs!

That sounds totally confusing. I'm having my own issues with cheap OPKs so I understand!!! Do you happen to know the sensitivities of the different tests? Like, what LH concentration is their detect limit? If they are the same, then I would guess that you're just borderline +. If they are different, then one of the tests is faulty.

I would say, a + is a +, so carry on as if it is a surge!!! But keep testing to see if you get unequivocal results later today or tomorrow.

Well, we have been BDing every other day since cd 11 and since getting some color it's been every day. I'm getting nothing else done and really could use a break. Never thought I'd be saying that, lol. I'm gonna test again later today. Yesterday I had O pain all day and ewcm. Today it's gone but I still have ewcm. It's just all messed up.

Can you guys post pictures.... The test line has to be just as dark.. or DARKER then the control... Sometimes they look Positive... but they might be just a shade lighter... and it is in fact negavtive..

And with OPK's... you should not use FMU... they are best to used in the afternoon/night....

This website is great.. You can see the progression.....

I finally took some pics today. I hope they make sense. The first one is of the cheapie tests with the cycle day and time and my temp that morning. the second pic is the answer OPKs. I've decided I ovulated but still not sure which day. More than one of the cheapie tests look positive while none of the answer ones do. What do you think?

I'd say you got the LH surge CD17, stayed borderline positive CD18 and early CD19, then went down. That looks like catching the surge to me! Isn't the Answer on CD17 a +? In agreement with cheapies? You can confirm with temps in a few days...

You got your first positive CD 17 and I think you O, what, 24-48 after that? So 18 or 19 I would think. I'm just getting OPKs so I'm a little green at this

Thanks everyone. Cd 17 does look positive in the pics in the answer tests. When i took them, it didn't look positive. I think it drying out did it.
When you ovulate, is it that day or the next day your temp goes up? If I actually ovulated 24hrs after the first positive, then I missed it. My dh has been too sick. We did bd cd 14, 16 & 17. I hope that's enough. I'm not getting my hopes up.
