Hi ladies

first off, i sufferer with recurrent losses. i have 4 losses so far and i fear positive hpts like they are positive hiv tests! sounds stupid right but seriously. i want to be pregnant so bad but i hate seeing bfps only to be let down when that B!tch shows!

im 12 dpo and i got a bfp this morning.

i am rather confused because i have been testing since 8dpo and have had super stark tests.

10dpo when i got a bfn i decided that it was time to call in my script for clomid for next cycle. it arrived yesterday.

so this morning when i test and got a bfp i was shocked! i still think its a false positive because i know how sensitive these test are and for it to only give me a bfp now is a bit shocking really....

because i sufferer with recurrent losses, it terrifies me that its a bad thing that i got a faint (but not to faint) line at 12dpo!

what do you think?

ok heres a pic... tell me what you think

First,

I think the tests can sometimes surprise us- we think that a negative at 10 dpo means game over, but it's not true. That said, test again in the morning and you'll have your definite answer.

I'm sorry that BFPs have lost their excitement for you.

Sending you tons of sticky baby dust.

I am sorry for all of your losses. I dont know your history, but if you have a BFP I would make an apt to be seen right away, so that they can monitor you. good luck

I agree with Karen, go get it checked out!! Tracking the rise of blood hcg will let you know if there's a reason for hope or not. And there are things they can do to help you, like if your progesterone is low or something.

I also understand the mixed feelings at the BFP. I'm the type of person who tries not to get my hopes up, so that I'm either pleasantly surprised, or right. But you never know..... Good luck!!!!!!!!

First, congratulations! Second, every pregnancy is different. Sending lots of sticky vibes. I'd try and be seen really soon so things like progesterone can be checked. Good luck. I hope you have a happy and healthy 9 months.

Congrats.. They look positive to me.. I don't even get a faint line on my tests until 14 DPO so that being said you are still good.. Maybe your bean took a while to get snug.. Wishing you the best of luck.... Keep us posted and if you take anymore tests share them with us.. WE all love to see them getting darker.

Just wanted to chime in with my Congratulations! And I am kind of the success story you can use.

I too, had 4 recurrent miscarriages before this pregnancy. At 12dpo I got the faintest line ever and like you didn't believe it. I kept testing until probably 22dpo and finally started getting decent lines around 16dpo. But I was also getting Betas done so I know my numbers were rising well. I am now 34 weeks with my miracle baby. Keep the faith that you can get your miracle baby too! If you can't, we will keep the faith for you!

Any updates? I'd call your OB ASAP because perhaps some progesterone or aspirin could help save this pregnancy, if they have determined a cause for your losses in the past.

GL!!
