My first mistake was starting out with a good feeling about this bean, despite being scared out of my mind. Even after I went in at 6w and the gestational sac was measuring less than 5w, and then I went in at 8w and the sac was measuring 5w5d, I still tried to stay positive since there was a bean measuring 6w with a h/b of 103. I knew my dates but tried to convince myself that maybe, just maybe I had a slow grower. Well, tonight I went in at 9w and the tech couldn't find a h/b. Now I get to wait for the radiologist to send the report to my dr and my dr to call and tell me what I already know. The best part is my good friend, and fellow teacher is due 2 days before I was, so I'll have a constant reminder of where I should be right across the hall. Looks like I get another angel for having faith.

Ohhh Lori, I am so so sorry. I know exactly how you feel. Two other staff members at my school are due within a week of my due date, all preparing to go on mat leave in the next couple of weeks. I am truly happy for them, but the reminders? That sucks. A lot. Im sorry hun, I wish it were different for you.

Lori I am so very sorry.
I know how you feel... my sister is due 2 1/2 weeks after I was supposed to be, and she just found out the gender and is growing and blossoming. It's so hard....
((HUGS)) to you.

I'm so sorry. It's just not fair. I think it's normal for us to be in denial. I was, even after they saw nothing and my HCG was really low. I convinced myself my dates were just off and maybe it was possible I got a positive test at just 3 weeks.
Hang in there. I'm sorry you are going through all this.

I am so sorry!! I was with you in the April due date club and also had to leave. It is so hard, my sister is due 5 weeks before I was and I know it will be hard to watch and be supportive when you are always thinking about what could have been.

I am so sorry you are going through this. Please don't feel bad for having faith or that this is a punishment. I know what you mean about reminders though. I had two in my office and it has been the hardest thing. My thoughts and prayers are with you. We are here whenever you need us.

Hugs sweetie. It really is one of the hardest things we have to go thru in life and seeing other pregnant women makes it even harder.

That constant reminder can be awful. A girl I work with shared a due date with me. At first it was very exciting... and now... I hear her complain about her morning sickness and how fat is she. It's kind of like a slap in the face really. I'm sorry for your loss, hon, and hope you can find your normal again.
