One year ago today we spread the word to our families that I was pregnant with a surprise baby. Everyone was so excited. We weren't trying and we were both as shocked as you could be about being pregnant.

It's so surreal that finding out was already a year ago. So much as happened in the last year for sure. I never would've guessed one year ago what the upcoming months held for my dh and I.

So weird how fast time flies and how you just get through the bad times and before you know it a year has passed and you've lived to tell about it....

Time does go by so fast. I know that I need to slow down and embrace more of what happens today. I should be more thankful for what I have. And I should be more relaxed about what may be. I need to learn to appreciate more in my life.
Jessica, thank you for the reminder. Thank you for posting. I needed that, and even though it may not have been intended, you have helped me a lot today.
