A month ago today I lost my last baby... I still can't believe I went through it a 4th time, and I still havn't let myself grieve.. I am still angry, but none of my friends want to talk about it and DH just seems not interested when I want to talk about it.. I am sure he is tired of hearing about it...

The saddest part is I got another 5 dollar off coupon for EPT's, and I so want to take advantage of it cause it is a good deal, and only good till Dec, but I know DH dosen't want to try anymore till I get checked out and who knows when that will be.. Also he wouldn't want me buying tests right now, but how can you let a deal like that go? KWIM?

I'm so sorry you've reached this milestone, Lindsey Why does this whole journey have to be so hard?

And I would totally be tempted to buy those tests

It sucks... bad... no fixing that... and definitely for me, one of the worst parts has been nobody to listen, nobody who understands. That's what this board is for... thank God for this board. Vent here all you want, Lindsey!!!

And yes, I would buy the EPTs too.

Have you thought of grants, medicaid, or there is a credit card out there called care credit. It is just for medical bills and many doctors accept it. I don't have health insurance and that is how I got my treatment/tests done. I think the state of Florida has excellent grants for those without health insurance.

I will have to look into it.. I tried for medicaid but they are taking thier time on letting me know if I was approved or not.. I will definitely look into the grants.. I don't think I would qualify for the credit card..

Don't give up, keep fighting and find a way to get the tests done! It will be a long rough road but you can do it!!!

Start calling some RE's offices tomorrow and ask if they have grants or payment plans.

I didn't need a referral for my RE, I think usually the referrals are required by the insurance not the doctor? But I'm not sure... it doesn't hurt to call and ask.

Since you are not going through insurance you do not need a referral. I would pick up the phone book (or look online) and call every RE in your area possible. Ask if they have payment plans or grants... You may get no's at every turn but it doesn't hurt to ask! Good luck!
