I never had a ticker for either of mine, but at the idea of looking at it, my mind shuts completely. I guess it's just my way of dealing with the pain - it's better the less I think about it. One would be almost 6 months, and with the other I'd be starting to show my belly and wear maternity clothes... but looking at a ticker.... it's hard to even look at those of you other ladies...
I'm sorry, I know for some people there's a need to remember the angel baby, but for me, this is just too much.

I'm sorry if it is too much, it's definitely optional. Like allot of ladies I've not kept track but on occasion like Lindsey's post it made me really think about it... I couldn't get over it last night believe you me at how old they might ne and knowing I would be having a babe any day right now has been very torturous.
So sorry if anyone finds it hard it was meNt with the best intentions

I know it wasn't your intentions Celena ...Obviously I didn't have to do it, but it's actually something I keep track of in my head...I knew that today I would of been 38 weeks, and I knew that i'd be 15 weeks, and now not only is it September 14th, 1 month till Ella's birthdate, but she also would of been 7 months old had she been born alive...She would of been 8 months on her birthdate ....I was just thinking about this while getting my kids ready this morning...My daughter is getting her braces off today...She got them on right after I found out I was pregnant in Jan, and here she is done with her braces and I would of been exactly 38 weeks today ...I wish it were something I could just forget about.

Oh I know Megan definitely didn't want to invoke any sadness or hurt
Kinda hit a hard spot when sweet Kelly came by and posted yesterday, we were due within a day of each other... I can't believe my edd is only a day or two away. The dr's office told me the 15th.
Like Nicole I still get emails of how far along I am...

I have my angel ticker, so it's not like I don't know how long it's been. But it's so different to look at it this way. She'd have started preschool this year...

I agree, it's so different to look at things this way.... I lurk around my DDC board, and I saw some posts by a particular girl today... I remember when I first got my BFP, I somehow found this website and found the "Am I Pregnant" forum... One of the first posts I saw was from her, posting her HPT. We had taken tests about the same day, and they were the same Wal-Mart tests... For some reason, I've always remembered her.
I saw her ticker today, and knew that I would probably be around that far along too....
