Hi Ladies,
My rainbow baby has finally arrived!! Have been trying desperately since Tuesday to get on here and update, but couldn't access anything but Facebook up until now. Well, we had our repeat C section Tuesday morning and everything went very smoothly. We had a beautiful baby girl at 753am, bright and early. Her name is Natalie Laura, and she weighed in at 6 lbs, 15 oz, a little peanut! However, she was 20 1/4 inches long, so she is tall and skinny I am so in love with her, she is beautiful and so tiny and petite compared to her brother. We are still here in the hospital until Saturday, so I will post pics when I get home this weekend because you absolutely must see her cuteness The surgery went well, and recovery was going well until yesterday when the pain got the most intense. I powered through it though, and today it seems to be easing up. I finally got a shower and some solid food which didn't happen until day 4 at my last C section, so already this stay has been more enjoyable. Also, a HUGE relief is that Natalie is BF'ing like a champ, almost like a piranha!! She has an incredible latch and suck, and is way ahead according to her lactation consultants. My son Owen had an awful time, so I was really hoping things would be different this time and it seems they are. The only problem is, she wants to feed CONSTANTLY over the last day so I feel as if I have a cowbell around my neck. I guess Day 3 this is common, but man all I do is nurse her and she is pooping non-stop. Anyway, we should be home Saturday mid-day and then I can upload some pics. I have to go through and catch up on the new babies arriving too, I am so excited to see how everything has progressed since I 'left' here on Tuesday. Thanks everyone for your well wishes, and I am so happy to say I finally have my little girl in my arms!!
