Who are you? Why have you never posted in this forum until now???? It really effects some o our members when we get these flyby posts of pregnancy by someone who has NOT and IS NoT an active member o our board. While I'm gld you want to share it's not appropriate to come here like this. Go over to whatever ddc you'd be in and announce it there or in the am I pg forum. But unless you're an active member I don't suggest coming here to do this. Upsets way too many of our sisters & regular (some long time) members.

I agree. Another good place for such person to share their news is in the Pregnant After Loss board. But if they haven't been TTC and actively posting about it on this board then this is not the place to randomly announce a pregnancy.

AGREED! If you haven't been an active member here then why would you come posting here when your ALREADY PREGNANT! I'm sorry but have some respect for us here.

okay, and here I was thinking I'd just missed her posts somewhere. This makes me feel a bit better that I'm not completely clueless.


I would think this would be true of any of the TTC boards, since on many of them there have been women who have been trying for a long time with no avail, and would find that kind of hurtful. But especially here, when we've suffered so much, many of us several losses, it seems incredibly insensitive.

Agreed. If you aren't an active member of any TTC board you shouldn't be sharing. I know with our last loss I joined the NTNP board and left a couple weeks later and felt weird announcing it there . I can't imagine doing it here without being a member.

Wow...glad I missed that post. It woulda been hurtful. Thanks for staying on top of things. Celebrating member pregnancies is totally cool, but getting a random pregnancy post is salt in the wound.

I hope to be a more active member on here, but I still prolly won't announce on here. That is what DDC and PR and PAL rooms are for
