As my 2WW buddies Amy and Rebecca already know, I've been seeing very very faint second lines on my cheapie early pg tests since 10 DPO. I am still not completely convinced they are real, but the one from yesterday afternoon (12 DPO) looks like a faint positive - there is color on it, the second line appeared within the 5 min testing period, and all that. See pic at the bottom... I showed it to my mom, she sort of rolled her eyes but said yes, let's go get some digital tests. (She thinks we modern girls are crazy with our early tests!!! haha) We will do that this morning, but I will not be able to test again until tomorrow because an old friend will be coming to stay with me and I don't want to do it while she's here.
After Rebecca and Amy's reactions and looking at the image again today, I'm realizing that yes, that really looks like a +. Perhaps not FAT, but positive (P, not BFP??) So I am starting to really allow myself to believe it, which feels very scary, I don't want to set myself up for disappointment.
SOOOO... before you all start sending me BFP sticky vibes!!... let me just humbly request "WOMB-Y" vibes first. This would be my first preg since the ectopic, and it's vital to make sure that it is not another ectopic. My first one (just a 3.5 months ago) was a seriously traumatic experience, I lost over half my blood and my tube, and the thought of another one scares the crap out of me. Apparently, having the next pg be in the womb, even if it ends in m/c, bodes extremely well for my future chances to avoid another ectopic. Right now, I'm not even asking God for a H&H 9 months... just for this to be a real pg, and be in the womb... I'd be happy with that.
Here's the pic. Plan is to take digi and another cheapie tomorrow afternoon, then go from there.
***** UPDATE ***
My friend is going to show up several hours late, and suddenly I almost had a heart attack realizing I had these digis and didn't know for sure. Sooo... I took one... "Pregnant"!!!
Not that this is news to those of you with eyes, but I've been in serious denial. I am still scared of all the tests and results I will have to wait for over the next couple of weeks, and 6 weeks is a big milestone for me (both previous losses were exactly 6 wks), and as my mathematician dad helped me calculate, I have about a 56% chance at this working out to be an actual live birth... but hey!!! I got a BFP with ONE TUBE!!!! That is awesome!

Definitely a BFP!! *tons of womb-y vibes, and later sticky dust vibes!*
I wanna see that digi! I'm ancy for you! I don't know how you can wait--if i'm this anxious for you! I'd go buy a digi, take the test real quick, and then share the results after the friend left!
Good luck hun!

Thanks ladies...... I got the digis, but I was thirsty this morning and my urine will be too dilute to test now, and my friend is coming within a couple of hours. Plus I can tell I'm stressing out my mom... I think it's safe for us to be in denial for another day or so before we start running around dealing with this.
Also, just so everyone knows, I don't live with my parents!!! lol I actually hadn't even been in my hometown since 2009 before this trip. I came out here since I'm on a leave of absence from work (post-ectopic indulgence) and my grandpa is in home hospice care, he just moved in with my parents, so I came to help out with that. My poor mom was already stressed out making sure he's comfortable and they're doing right by him, and now this - she's worried about whether I should go home early, and/or what we need to do to get me proper early care here, if in fact I am pg. Poor mommy. I'm finding it easier to be calm because I need to be, for her. Also I already lived through the worst case scenario in my head 50 times, so I feel prepared for it. I'm probably fooling myself, but oh well.
Okay, I am officially not dealing with this until tomorrow afternoon. Please forgive my lack of updates until then.
I am grateful for your womb-y vibes... thank you and BFP vibes to one and all...
