my DH left to work 5 hours away yesterday. He is building rigs (oil rigs) to go down to australia. Once they are built he is going to work on them down in australia, so he will be gone a month home a month. Anyways the rigs aren't being shipped until the middle of November, so my DH is gone for the next two months I have to confess that I am kinda relieved that he is gone because now I won't have the anxiety about dtd and not knowing where I am in my cycle. We were NTNP since the miscarraige and I have been trying not to have sex because I don't know when I ovulate and I am a little nervous about getting pregnant again. So now I don't have to worry because DH isn't here.

I think that sounds horrible, happy that my husband is gone so that I don't have to worry about getting pregnant

It's completely understandable. I'm sure that you will start to miss him in a couple of weeks though. I don't know how you ladies manage on your own for so long when your DH's are gone so much. MY friend has 3 kids under 3 and her DH works in Ft Mac 6 weeks on 4 off. My hats are off to you!

I don't think it's horrible. You feel what you feel.. I will feel the same way too once this m/c is done and over with, at least for a while. I'm nervous about getting pg again too..

Awe, ladies....

I'm sure that the relief of stress will be nice for having a break from ttcal... I agree that you'll miss him very soon after he leaves. Distance makes the heart grow fonder I hope y'all are blessed soon after he gets back!!!

That is not horrible at all!! Most of us can understand wanting that decision taken away from us. If he is not here, there is no possibility of getting pregnant...therefore you don't have to be afraid or anxious about the testing, waiting, and fear that comes with the whole shebang. Take heart that a lot of us would feel the same way, real separation or not.

I hope you have a ncie break while he is gone and that when he gets back, you are more emotionally ready to try again. And hopefully all it will take is one try Be gentle on yourself...we all can be overly hard on ourselves for our feelings and emotions surrounding this terrifying path.

Thanks ladies It is so great to have support from women who have gone through this!! I am going to get to go and see him, so it isnt like we won't get to see him just not as often

It is nice not to have those feelings of anxiety, I didn't realize until he left how relieved I was , I have been trying to stay so strong and I really do have baby fever, but I am glad that I have a few months to heal.
