Alright, I decided to post something completely random, but I think it's kind of a fun question.

When it comes to cooking, (and by that I mean anything, even if it's Ramen, or a cold cut sandwich!) what is your specialty? Or perhaps even just your favorite thing to make, or even eat! I'm pondering this just for the most part i've sick of my usual suspect dinners and looking to spice things up.

What i'm known for making is:
Fettuccine Alfredo (Chicken for me, and shrimp for DH)

What my favorite thing to make is:
Crumb cake. I love the way it smells as it's baking, and knowing it's gonna taste just as good as it smells!

My favorite food though:
(Besides Chinese from Panda Garden......)
Would be pot roast. It just takes me back to my childhood, and comforts me like no other.

What about you? You don't have to list all of them like I did, but maybe a thing or two

When it comes to cooking, (and by that I mean anything, even if it's Ramen, or a cold cut sandwich!) what is your specialty? I don't honestly have a speciality.. I just throw it together and eat it. I am not a big cooker, but slowly learning as time goes on..
What i'm known for making is:
I've gotten really good at my burgers, and my chicken.. DH has liked my chicken and burgers lately.. Says I am getting better which makes me happy.

What my favorite thing to make is:
I like the easy quick stuff so my favorite to make is spaghetti..

My favorite food though:
Is Italian foods... I also love chicken and dumplings and frito pie.. Also biscuits and gravy.. Mmm this post made me hungry..

This is a cute thread!!! Good idea Amy.

My specialty:
Beans. Black beans, pinto, kidney, white/navy, lentils, black-eyed peas, fresh peas (a recent discovery since I moved to Mississippi). I love beans and they are so, so, so healthy. I have all sorts of secret ingredients that make mine great.

What i'm known for making is:
I would say, veggie side dishes. I lived with vegetarians for a few years in college, and that was where I learned to cook. I make some great healthy (olive oil, not pork fat) braised greens, and also a rosemary-balsamic root bake (sweet potatoes, squash, turnips, beets, etc).

What my favorite thing to make is:
Anything featuring chipotle chilis in adobo!!! Because I love the smell. Chili, chipotle chicken, etc.

My favorite food though:
TACOS. While I'm in California, I am eating tacos almost every day. There is no good Mexican food in Mississippi.
