I haven't posted here in awhile. Been lurking mainly. Well, here's the backstory. Last af was Aug 23. I had sharp o pain sept 8 and we dtd. Well, at 12 & 13 dpo I got a light bfp on answer tests in the afternoon (my lines are darker in the afternoons). I had my dr appt today and they did bloodwork on me (prenatal profile and progesterone). Well, I decided to test when I got home (14dpo) and it was negative. I didn't even see a 2nd line. What's going on with this? I'm freaking myself out it I think. Sunday (11dp) I started having very light brown spotting and pain on my left side. Nurse said it was probably implantation. I'm so upset that the last test was negative. I have been cramping too. But no blood. However I'm expecting it at any minute. Has anyone had any experiences with this?

**UPDATE** I called the dr this morning and asked if they had my paperwork and she said yes. So I got an appt at 11 so I could talk to him since I miscarried on Friday. Turns out I have a UTI also. I had no clue that I had one! They gave me medicine for it. They did a pelvic exam and that went fine. He took my mom and I in the office and talked to us. He said my beta was 0, which I figured since I tested negative at home the same day I had bloodwork. My progesterone was 1.7. He said that indicates that I was about to miscarry. He suggests us waiting a cycle for dating purposes, which we will wait since I'm on this antibiotic. So, I asked him that since this is my 3rd loss in 7 months if there is any testing they can do. He suggested us doing chomosonal testing, but I said not yet to that one. However, they did a full panel of tests from antibodies to lupus...etc! They took like 9 vials! They said that I might get the results on Friday but it might be longer. So I'll update if they find anything. Thanks again for all the thoughts and support!!

I am sorry about the negative test. I just hope it is a fluke and it is a bad test. When will you get your results from your bloodwork?

Brown blood is old blood and not usually reason for concern. Although that is easier said than done. I would try not to worry to much until you get the blood work back and they can give you more information. It could very well be a less sensitive or bad test. That is why a lot of ladies won't test again for fear of extra worry. Praying that everything works out with your bean.

I'm not sure what's going on... brown blood is usually not a big deal but the negative test is concerning... I hope that it is wrong and your blood work shows a pregnancy.

((HUGS)), Keep us posted!

I hope the test is just a fluke!

I had two chemicals one in June and May this year both times they were on digi's so there was no mistaking the word "pregnant" but bloodwork showed it only at 5hcg which they told me I was having a chemical. So it does happen.

Don't expect it when you haven't gotten any bloodwork results back confirming one way or another...

I had a very similar experience recently...and it was, in fact, a chemical. I really, really hope your blood work shows differently and it was just a crap test. That would be ideal. Hang in there til it comes back...you never know Thoughts and prayers your way!!

Called the ob this morning and no news yet. They ran an ob panel and progesterone and she said that the ob panel is what's taking so long. She said to call back tomorrow morning. So I'll be able to update tomorrow afternoon hopefully.

So my dh convinced me to take a digi this morning using FMU. BFN. I went and bought some FRER's and clearly negative. It's so disappointing. I had positive tests for 2 days and now negative. But, the weird thing is, is I still have all the symptoms, sore bbs, nausea, dizziness, and today I started having hearburn. This is crazy.
