I've been thinking a lot about Halloween today. My dad brought over my tubs of Halloween decorations, and i'm in the process of putting them up (we don't have enough room to store them here)
I love the start of fall. When summer is 115 + degrees, the chill the fall brings is welcomed with open arms. I love to see the leaves change colors, and even better because our housing authority takes care of the lawn care for us so we don't have to clean them up! (we can play with them all we want with out the clean-up, yay!)
I'm getting excited to dress up. I'm using items from my closet, minus a few things that I have to go buy. I'm going to be a punk fairy. (I'm rebelling against everything this year, and it just seems to fit my mood) I'm excited to finally sit down and watch my horror movies, without getting funny looks (I watch em all the time anyway, but focus on the classics this time of year)
Anybody else as excited as I am?

I love fall (and Halloween) too, Amy! I LOVE going to orchards, picking apples, picking pumpkins, getting some cider and apple donuts... mmmmm Plus I am absolutely in love with those beautiful sunny days where the temperature is in the upper 50s or lower 60s, the leaves are changing, the air is crisp, and I can go take a hike in my jeans and fleece.... ahhhh, I love just thinking about it.
When I was little I was obsessed with Halloween, and I've calmed down a lot (I don't dress up anymore), but I do have a whole tub of Halloween decorations. I am waiting until October 1st to pull them out though

I pulled out my generic autumn decorations already, but I'm waiting until Oct. 1st as well for the Halloween ones. But it's hard!! lol. I'm in the midst of making costumes too, so I'm way excited.

I've had my fall decorations up for a couple weeks, but today I put out my inside halloween decorations!!!! I'm going to finish up my yard work before I do the outside, hopefully by next week...My daughter is having a halloween themed birthday party, so we are going to have fun decorating...I like Halloween, but Christmas is my favorite

I haven't put up my decorations, yet. I'm still trying to find out where to put them! (I have a whole halloween themed miniature village, among other things) This is our first Halloween in this house, and we have a bit more space so I'm having fun with it!
I'm also having fun putting together my costume (DD is with her dad this Halloween, since I got her last year, so I'm attending a small Halloween get together, but costumes are mandatory) I got out my crafts box, that I haven't played with in a few years (lack of creativity I think) but right now i'm making an 'Anarchy' fairy wand. I'm making it out of an old toy wand of DD's, electrical tape, an old black belt, those square studs, and some old sheer star fabric I have. (I figured it would go well with the whole punk fairy type thing)
DH looked at me like I was crazy cos I was starting already. He's like Halloween is over a month away.
*insert evil witch cackle here*

I  all the seasons!! But MUST say that fall is one of my favs, cooler temps and HALLOWEEN
I have a couple boxes to pull out yet of decorations think one of my favorite ones is of the faux crow, but it looks SO REAL!!! I'd like to be able to buy some more, but $$$ isn't allowing altho the dollar store has some cute cheap things to go with what I already have.

Celena- Yeah the dollar store, and walgreens is where I got most of my deco. Walgreens has awesome prices too! I got some stuff from Micheal's as well after Halloween was over so I got it at 75% off. (That's how I roll lol. I buy it all after the holiday, and use it the following years--totally worth it.) I probably have about 300 dollars worth of halloween stuff that I got for about 75 total throughout the years.
