I had two BFP's last night at 11dpo. I didn't test this morning to see if my test is still positive, but I feel like AF is going to show at anytime. I have been cramping and it feels like AF cramps. When you had a chemical did you cramp like you were getting AF?

OMG! Congratulations, Lisa! I will be praying for you!
Cramping is very normal early on, especially at 11-12 dpo. It is most likely implantation cramps. I had a lot of back cramps at 11-13 dpo, which I normally get before AF. My sister didn't test until she was 6 weeks on both her children because she kept saying AF was going to start any second because she was cramping.
Drink plenty of water and try to relax (I know it is so much easier said than done). Feel free to come over to PAL, everyone there is so helpful and all understand.
HUGS!
Kat.

Thanks Kat. Yesterday my back was hurting worse too. I may head over there after I call the doctor and get my first hcg. I am not sure when I am going to call yet since technically I am not supposed to get pg til Dec. or Jan. I am thinking of waiting til after AF is supposed to show (Tues. or Wed.) so that I can at least tell them I missed AF.

I would probably wait until you miss AF, most dr. won't put a lot of stock in early pregnancy tests. Besides - you might want to be a little deceptive and not let on that you were trying this month Early testing does not make sense if it's an oops.
I would call both your doctors and let them know and they can decide the protocol on which one you see.

First of all, congrats on your bfp! I cramped with each of my pregnancies...mind you I've never gotten past 6 weeks. However, each dr has told me that cramping is completely normal. Last week I got positive tests on Monday and Tuesday and then it turned negative on Wednesday. I would call your dr on Monday and schedule an appt. I know my dr said they want me in the day I get a positive test. GL and keep us posted. You'll be in my thoughts!

Kat- that is what I was thinking. Although I went to urgent care last week b/c I felt like I did last year when I found out I was pg. I felt like I had a bladder infection. I also have a sinus infection and I had that too last year right after I found out I was pg. I have already been nauseous. I don't know why b/c I didn't think that actually started til about 5 or 6 weeks. I have been gagging when I brush my teeth. I think I could almost get away with telling them I had a bunch of similar signs and my period has been weird so I decided to test. Last month I had a 24 day cycle.
Lindsay- I may go back to urgent care instead of my obgyn. They can run a blood test there. I already went there for a possible uti and pain/cramping. They told me if it got worse to come back on Friday and if it stayed the same to come back on Monday. I could just tell them I don't know what is going on and maybe they will do a pg test there. LOL OR I may tell them I took a test.
I am going to buy some more tests today and check tonight or in the morning for a line. I haven't had a line on a test yet. I didn't have any last night so I am not sure if I would have had lines or not. I don't want to use all of my digi's. I already used two of them. They are so expensive that I don't want to waste them all.

I do not remember having any cramping with my chemical pregnancies. Nothing that would have indicated that AF was on her way. But I have always had cramping with my regular pregnancies. It always feels like AF is going to show up any day. That is totally normal in the early weeks of pregnancy. I am so keeping my fingers crossed for you that this baby is a sticky one and you have a very healthy pregnancy!!!!!

No, with me I knew something wasn't quite right because my tests were not getting darker. I know that they aren't an accurate indicator of a "normal" pregnancy but in my gut I knew something was wrong. I took a test and it was light, took another the next day and it was a bit darker, then when I took another it was light again. I waited a week and tested again and it was pretty faint. I waited a few more days and it was a bit darker. A week after that it was still pretty faint. By this point I was a week and a half late for AF so I knew it should have been pretty darn dark and it wasn't. I started bleeding at 5 weeks and 5 days and I just knew that was it. Two days later when I had my blood drawn my HCG was all the way down to 17 at 6 weeks along... a chemical.
Throughout it all I felt normal. No cramps, no AF feelings, just a gut feeling that something wasn't right. With my dd's pregnancy I had bad cramps for 4 weeks and bleeding for almost a month and my pregnancy was as normal and healthy as could be. Never know..................

I was also in the party of those who did not have cramps in my chemical. I got my positive test on August 30th. And when by September 2nd is was not any darker, I just knew. And blood confirmed it, that my HCG was only at 13 at a day shy of 5 weeks. I had no cramping, no nausea, no preg signs at all with that one.
Both my son and the later miscarriage, I had cramping, gagging, sore boobs, and prolly a few more early symptoms. And my son was a perfectly healthy pregnancy. I think cramps are very normal because your body has to adjust

Thanks ladies. I took a $1 store test and it was very faint. I am only 12dpo though. I did have a bfn on one yesterday. I am so tempted to take another digital but I think I will just wait til the morning and take another $1 test. Hopefully it will be darker so I won't get freaked out too much.

Remember how inaccurate that is though Lisa You will drive yourself crazy and my doc has told me MANY times how the tests are nowhere near specific, so they can go dark, light, fuzzy, etc. Even the good ones. That is why I like the digital, I find it takes away some of that craziness, but they are expensive. I watch my tests like a hawk...so I get it But try not to be too obsessed, just for your own sanity. I really, really hope this is your little angel!!

I had AF like cramping with my first pregnancy that lasted about 2 weeks. I was so sure AF was going to show! But I had a healthy baby. With my second PG no cramping (I had a M/C due to SCH but the baby itself was healthy.)
My OB told me it is normal from the implanting and the hormones causing your uterus to grow and change.

I had AF cramping with all my pregnancies, including my chemical. When I was pg I was constantly running to the bathroom thinking I was miscarrying because I had cramps so bad. I was always relieved when there was nothing there. The cramps do go away. I also had ms really early with some and later with others. Every pregnancy is different.
I'm sending lots of non-molar sticky vibes your way. Try not to let the doctors bother you. They write all kinds of stuff in my charts all the time to just cover their butts. Just smile and say that it's ok, you won't sue them

Oh my goodness, I hope this is it for you! I have a hard time getting clear positives with the $ tests. With this pg, you could barely see the line at 14dpo, and I got dark, distinct lines with the other brands. I was cramping quite a bit too, and would have bet money that af was coming. *crossings fingers* for you....

So the cramping could very well be a good sign. Still no AF. I think she should be here tomorrow anyways. Thank you ladies!!!
