I went to urgent care last week to see if I had a uti at like 7dpo b/c I was having back pain, cramping, abdominal pain, pain with full bladder. No uti!!! They told me to come back on Monday. Well, I took a digi Saturday and it was positive! I couldn't decide whether to go back to urgent care and play "dumb" or call my obgyn and tell them I got a positive hpt. I decided to play "dumb." I am also having problems with my sinuses so I figured I could ask about that too.
I went to urgent care and just told them the same info. I didn't mention anything about my boobs being sore or that I have been gagging when I brush my teeth. They did a uti - no uti and no blood in my urine. They also did a pg test and it showed up a faint positive. It was kinda funny b/c they had 3 people working and they all popped their heads around the corner. All I could see was their heads and no body. LOL One said and when was your last period? I told them again, September 3rd. They were like your test was positive.
I told them about my molar pg and how I just had bloodwork done last week. They called my obgyn and spoke to him. He said to order bloodwork. He also said that he isn't worried about it (at least that it what the PA said at urgent care).
I guess I will call my obgyn in the morning. I should have my hcg level on Wednesday! The lab guy just picked up the bw at 4 and they didn't draw it until 4:45.

I'm glad you're getting the blood work done. And that you got out of breaking the news to your OB Keeping my fingers crossed for you!

Well it looks like your little "playing dumb" plan worked!! lol It sucks to wait that long for bloodwork, but I'm glad your OB isn't freaking out or anything. GOOD LUCK with the next few weeks and keep us posted!!!!! I'm thinking of you!

Saline nasal spray will do the trick
I always have sinus issues in the beginning of pregnancy, stuffiness and sinus headaches real bad... total pg symptom for me. So I would use saline nose spray or you can even use benedryl.
Too funny about your "playing dumb" Lisa I hope they get the labs back sooner than wednesday I'd call your OB's office because they might get them first or have access to the system even.

Yeah the bw isn't even getting picked up til 4 tomorrow. I guess it only gets picked up 1x a day.
She gave me a nasal spray and said to check with my ob about sudafed. She said my ears have tons of fluid in them. I guess that is why I feel like I am drunk. Benadryl is safe though?

I love it. I'm glad your OB is ok with everything. What a great way to break it to him I'm sorry you have to wait for the blood work. I hope it all comes back good.

I took Claritin (the generic form) and it's safe. My OB suggested that if I take Benadryl to take it at night only.
Did you call about your results?

Lisa I think the average for 14 dpo is 100, so you are right on target!
