A friend of mine from high school and I were due days apart. So I always compare my loss to her pregnancy.

She posted ultrasound pictures today and found out she is carrying a girl.

I'm sad. I miss my baby.

I can't go on Facebook because my cousin is due the week I was and I can't handle all her updates so I just stay away. It's amazing how much more time I have to be on JM instead

The updates from this friend who is due when I would have been is KILLING me. I honestly broke down when I saw her upload ultrasound pics. Ugh.

Facebook is the debil as bobby bouche would say his momma said!

I avoid it like the plague because of all the preggos that pop up on there, no offense to anyone in particular because most of them don't know what I've been thru... it's just too hard to see sometimes, so I think in the last year I hardly go on there.

I've found that you can hide/block updates from those people so it makes it a little easier for when you do go on there to NOT have those reminders if you want to do that.

I have many many pregnant people on my facebook, or people on JM who have babies (from DDC's I was on)...I admit that I have most of their posts blocked....It just hurts too much...Nothing against them, but It's just a constant reminder of everything I lost...It hurts too much to see every day.

((HUGS)) My sister is due 2 1/2 weeks after I was, and when she found out the sex earlier this month I congratulated her then I hung up and cried. I am happy for her but it hurts so much that it is a constant reminder of where I should be.

Facebook is THE WORST when it comes to pregnant people and new moms. I have a friend on there who I have decided to hide - she had her first baby earlier in the summer, and I swear EVERY post is either complaining about being up all night or how much she "loves being a Mommy". ARGGGGH!! It was annoying before my m/c and before I was even PG, now it's just over the top.

The ability to hide someone's news feed is one of the greatest functions on FB. No need to torture yourself!

It makes me glad I wasn't on anything like facebook when I was pregnant with Cora. I wasn't on JM either.

Although, I have to admit, there's a girl on one of the other boards I'm on here on JM who has a little girl Cora's age. She has a blinkie in her sig that says "I love my May 06 PR Mommies" and it just hurts me to look at it. *sigh* I found JM because Cora died. But I wish I was in the May 06 PR.

I can totally agree and understand.. I just had two friends post ultrasound pics, and it broke my heart.. One was the pastors wife of the church I went to and I am super excited for them cause her and her hubby have been trying for a really long time.. It is definitely hard..
