Hi Ladies,

I am sorta at a loss and know I need to get in to my doctor. The only issue is my doctor is part of a midwife practice and is swarming with pregnant ladies, so I hate going there. But obviously still will. Anyway...here is what is happening:

I had a miscarriage at nine weeks (d & c at almost 12 weeks) for a baby who had stopped growing somewhere in the 8 week area. All appeared to be a normal missed miscarriage. D & C seemed routine, I bled for a long time after and went to the ER at one point because the bleeding was really heavy. The sono showed no retained products.

Immediately after the miscarriage (no period in between), I tested positive for pregnancy again (after having many negatives tests before the positive one). However, over the course of a couple days they faded to negative and blood tests confirmed my HCG was dropping (25 then 13). So the doc said he thought it was leftover from my miscarriage, I disagreed and thought it was a chemical (because of all the negative tests in the middle). I bled normally and went on to have ovulation at the typical time.

Again, this cycle, I got a positive test a yesterday. It was light, but present (at 11-12DPO). I also tested with a digi and got "PREGNANT" as a result. But this morning it is positive but barely there and I am cramping and bleeding lightly.

***??? Twice in a row? I am so confused as to what my body is doing. And am really angry too. I am completely lost as to why I am testing positive repeatedly only to have my period show up. I know my LP is not short, as we are talking 12-15 between ovulation and bleeding (that does run in the family though). My mom had also had multiple miscarriages with only her tilted uterus as an explanation (mine is tilted too). It just seems so weird to have concieved my son so easily (he was really an 'happy accident') and now have so many issues. Thanks for any insight you might have. Sorry I wrote a book!! Lol.

HUGS! I think you should defiantly talk to your doctor and if she won't listen I would go to another one. Did they ever check your progesterone level? I would ask to have that checked as well. I know this is so confusing but make sure your voice is heard when you talk to your doctors. It's your body and you know it better than any of them.

I would talk to your Dr too. It sounds like you are having chemicals. Demand some testing be done. Good lick and I'm sorry

I would agree with Katie - get your progesterone checked. It may be a simple fix of just taking progesterone after you o.
