Bill and Giuliana Rancic Recall Heartbreak of Her Miscarriage - Health, Bill Rancic : People.com

I thought this was very interesting. Not many people talk about miscarriage on tv.

I LOVE the fact that they are brave enough to talk about it. I think Celine Dion shared hers too (or I might be mistaken). It seems to be such a taboo topic. When people ask me when I'm gonna have kids I almost wish I could tell them about my miscarriages - but it's so taboo and I'm afraid of making them uncomfortable.

I know - I've decided that from now on, if people ask and I feel like I can reply at the time, I'm just going to briefly tell them my story.

I saw a youtube video of her telling her story... and it just goes to show that even people on talk shows don't know what sensitive is. That woman blabbing on about "a visitor coming to see if you're ready... the visitor will be back..." and she said that she says that to ALL of her friends who miscarry... Honestly I'm surprised none of them have snapped at her. So rude.

But yeah I am definitely in admiration of them coming out about that on TV, it's very brave.

Wish that more media involved people were a little more open to talking about it, it's heartbreaking and I think while none of us want to talk about it after it happens... it would be far more helpful in support of those who have gone thru heartbreak(s) as well as informing others on how painful it can be, how to be supportive at the same time.

Shoot, what if we didn't want to talk about it at all with others? JM TTCAL wouldn't exist! I couldn't imagine that...

Flipping subjects again, do y'all remember when Khloe Kardashian had gotten a + hpt? Then she had gotten af later? Think she had a chemical/loss and no one really talked about it...

I read the article in this week's People, and honestly, it just made me feel SO much better after my m/c last weekend - almost like a sign to me. I've been beating myself up all week, wondering if there was something I could've done, and after I talked to a bunch of people about it at work (bc they knew I was PG), literally 3/4 of the women I work with told me that they had at least one loss in their lifetime. And ALL of them went on to have at least one child afterwards.

So I have been feeling a lot better about it over the past couple of days, and my confidence is slowly coming back. Now I'm just waiting on AF to arrive in a few weeks.....(I never thought I'd be saying that!! lol)

I read the article too and it had me in tears. You are right it's funny once you open up how many people confess that it happened to them too.

A few co workers asked me last night if we were planning to try for another baby and I ended telling them. I told them I don't know why it has to be some taboo secret., and I felt better sharing it.

I also think it's such a taboo, when I mentioned mine (with some relation to the topic of conversation) people stay quiet, and I wish they didn't. My SIL had a m/c in April, right before we visited her and she sort of refuse to talk about it, I tried to reach to her and nothing....I think it's great that this people are bringing to TV.
