Hello ladies..okay..this is really strange and I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced any of this. First off, I need so say that typically every month I will have a little bit of cramping 1-2 days before my period and then a litte bit during my period. It's usually not too bad. I NEVER have cramping at any other time during my cycle. The problems that I'm having now started in August. I had a seemingly normal period on August 15, but then had strange cramping a few days after my period ended. It lasted a few days. I didn't think much of it and so I went on with TTC. I'm almost positive I got pregnant and then had a chemical that cycle. On about day 24 of that cycle I started cramping really badly and felt extremely bloated and 'full'. My stomach and lower abdomen were visually distended and hard. I had a lot of Right side only pain and lower back pain. I did not want to move at all. After a couple days the pain started to subside and then on day 27 of my cycle I got what looked like a heavy period.
I felt fine after that and so I chalked it up to a really wierd cycle with a chemical pregnancy. We tried this month. I felt great and ready to go. I don't think I even ovulated though this cycle though. Anyways, on about day 21 of my cycle I started having mild cramping. It got worse each day. This past Saturday(day 23) I was cramping very badly almost entirely on the right side, with quite a few sharp stabbing pains mostly on the right side of my lower abdomen/pelvic area. Yesterday(day 24),I woke up in a great deal of pain, was extremely bloated and distended again like I was last month, and worst of all, I had very sharp RECTAL pain ?!?! I had a lot of pain and pressure in the rectal area. It was an internal pain. I was also having a lot of wierd 'pulling' type sensations in my pelvic area, especially during urination. Despite all of the rectal pain, I had two very 'healthy' BM's (sorry TMI i know) The pain was so bad, especially anytime I moved or changed positions from standing to sitting and vice versa. It also was quite random. At several times the pain was SO bad that I nearly fainted and felt like I could vomit. I almost went to the ER but didn't because I was scared to I guess. Today I woke up still feeling 'off' but so far I only have very mild almost unnoticable rectal pains and just some minor crampng on the right side..
I will be going to the doctor. I'm honestly not sure whether this is something for my GP or my ob/gyn, but I'm thinking its more ob/gyn related because it seems like it correlates to my cycle. I was also thinking about this and realized that I've had this weird rectal pain before during my period but its always been mild.
Sorry if I've disturbed people with this....I would love to hear any input...thank you all in advance

I'm sorry you're dealing with this
I haven't had those kinds of pains but the first thing it made me think of is endo, especially when you mentioned the rectal pain. OR it could be digestion related... the digestive system could be affected by the fluctuation in hormones (for example I get gas at AF).. Well it could be a lot of things I guess but these are the only things I can think of right now. I hope you get answers at the doctor's and hope it's easily fixable!

Thank you Servilia Yeah...the endo has crossed my mind along with a bunch of other scary things like cyst, fibroids, ect. I just find it odd that my cycles changed so suddenly. I mean..yeah...I've had some minor rectal pain before, but never like this. I don't know why it seems like everthing has suddenly gone haywire. Could endo show up with a sudden vengence like this? I'm trying to stay calm and rational. BTW, I should mention that I took a HPT a couple days after I started bleeding with the last cycle and it was negative and then this past saturday I took another one. It was also negative, although I would guess that would only be about 8dpo if I did ovulate. I took both of these tests because I was concerned about ectopic but I guess I'm safe there..

The same thing happens to me! I remember it was like that for the first 6 cycles after my loss last year and it happened to me on Tuesday - Thursday last week as well with this loss. My doctor does not seem too concerned with it and I do not have endo. He says everyones body reacts differently after a loss.

I am sorry you are going through this, but glad to know that someone else experienced the same thing and I am not crazy!

hello again...I just got off of the phone with a nurse at my ob's office. I felt kind of hurried through the conversation, but the nurse told me she thinks I've had an ovarian cyst rupture. She says the earliest the doctor can see me is THURSDAY! this sucks ...I looked up ovarian cyst rupture online and read that it can be dangerous to delay treatment..I hope everything is okay..I know I'm being a crazy worry wart but I was in severe pain yesterday, doubled over almost fainting and I still dont feel good. i hope thursday comes fast because I'm scared..

I would walk into your doctors office and sit there until they saw you... But then again I am crazy! I have a hard time not getting my way.

I hope you are ok.

Ok, where did my post go?

I could go to urgent care or the ER, I don't know much about it, but it sounds bad enough not to wait until Thursday.

I think that very thing happened with my last loss. I was loosing the baby the first day I started bleeding but I had a very sharp pains on my right side so I went to the ER.. They said they found something by my right ovary and I had fluid in my abdomen around it so they thought the baby was eptopic and my tube ruptured.. Turned out my tube never ruptured and my numbers were going down so I opted to do the methotrexate injections and that was all they treated me for was the possible eptopic risk.. I really hope that your Dr can get you i n and get you checked out.. Keep us posted.. Good luck hun.,
