I went for my post d&c appt and everything went well. She said that everything seems to have gone back to normal, except for my hcg for right now. She told me that the pathology came back normal with just some inflammation from a missed abortion (I HATE that term). The genetics testing isn't back yet, and she said she'll call when she gets it. I decided that after being in the dark with my other 2 losses with no chance to find out what happened and then wanting to know everything that I could, when she gets the results I want to know everything they were able to figure out. I'll let you know when I hear something.

As for the O/T prayers one of my friends at work had her world rocked today. There was a huge accident close to the school where I work around 7:20 this morning. Around 10:00 one of my friends got a call that her son was one of the victims in the crash and had been transported by ambulance (since all helicopters were grounded due to weather) to the nearest trauma center (over an hour away). This afternoon when we dismissed the kids a few of our firemen that were at the scene were picking their kids up and mentioned that it didn't look good. Her son is in his early 20's, but he's still her baby. I know how badly it hurts to lose a child I've never met, I can't imagine losing one I've raised. If you could pray for him I would greatly appreciate it. He can use all the prayers he can get.

Lori, I'm glad your appointment went well, and I hope that whatever you find from the testing brings you a little peace. I'm so sorry about your friend's son. She is in my thoughts.

Lori I'm glad that you went ahead and are going to find out what may have caused your Little One to grow wings, jic there's something she or he can tell you. As well as I'm glad that things are going back to normal for now for your body too.

OT... prayers absolutely!!! I fear that everyday as did my mom with me... I CANNOT imagine that either, never want to. However, miracles happen everyday, everywhere and praying that he is blessed with one of that of a second chance at a long life ahead of him.
