Is anyone dressing up? if so what are you going as?
I'm not usually the type to dress up...We are invited to a halloween party (we were last year too but it was right after I lost Ella, so we didn't go)...I'm stressed out about this whole situation...DH wants to go, and I don't because I hate trying to find costumes...almost all woman's costumes are so skimpy looking lol (nothing i'd wear), not to mention costumes are so expensive, and I hate to just blow money on something that we'll wear once....Plus i'm sure everyone will be drinking, and since it's so close to when i'm getting my blood re-taken and start TTC again, I don't really want to drink (I haven't drank in almost 2 years since the last halloween party we went to)...So I don't know what we'll do...I thought I could get some idea's from you guys lol

I'm not very inventive. I have a big pumpkin shirt and I'm going to wear a stem hat. Last year I was a witch. The year before I was a zombie with gross scars and stuff. My DH likes it when I dress like scary things. Of course, he loves to watch scary movies too and I don't care for them.

My old standbys are gypsy, or alien... both easy to do with stuff you already have around the house (tinfoil antennae? lol)

I love Halloween. I'm being a rebellious fairy! Red N Black. (lets just say it's my way of sticking it to my BFN's, and non sticky dust I seem to have) hehe!

Im being a witch. Its a fantastic costume, not sleezy. You know Im wondering what the heck those costume makers think? Even costumes for my kids are a little ridiculous. Ive had to veto costumes that were too sleezy, for my little girls!
Anyway, I think at halloween we need to have a costume pic thread so we can all see what we looked like, although Im sure some of you have seen my facebook pics from a past halloween (Same costume, it was expensive and Im going to wear it every halloween until it either stops fitting or it falls apart!)
As for you Megan, I know what a had time youve been having and my advice to you is to go out and have some fun. You deserve it.

My oldest wants to be Alice in wonderland (she's 11)...The only costumes we can find IN HER SIZE are SKIMPY..No way.
I know it would do us good to go out, especially in October, it's a hard month, but since I lost Ella, i've kind of drifted away from people I know, and actually hate social situations...I feel like people just see me as the one who's baby died ...I'm still debating on if we will go or not...Not to mention 2 years ago when we went to the same party DH drank WAY too much and did something that embarassed me...We weren't at the party very long before we came home lol

very pretty Brittanie, I saw the one on facebook
I have a sewing machine, but I can't sew, so that's out of question...I guess it really depends on if we can find costumes or not...If we do go, there will be no tequilla drinking for DH LOL

Megan - You could be a girl ninja! That way you could fight off all of the pain and hurt you are feeling for your angel baby and have a good time.
I made a ninja costume for Kyle a few years back. I made it Halloween day and took less than an hour with little sewing. And I think it cost me less than $5 for the material.

Here are some pictures. The sword is real (he collects them) but you can find cheap ones at the dollar store.
I actually wore this the next halloween.
Super easy to make and CHEAP!
