Hi ladies, not sure where to ask.

I've been a member here since 2006 as *Pamela* but left after we got some heartbreaking news that out baby had down syndrome, he was born sleeping at 19 weeks gestation. Tomorrow will be 4 weeks since he was born.

I had another loss a few years ago at nearly 12 weeks and got a negative hpt a week past d&c. I realise that this recent loss is further along but how long does it take for the hormones to go back down to 0?

I've had sore boobs this past week and thought I would take a cheap store brand test and a faint positive showed within the time and has dried darker. I'm going to retest Monday but I'm so confused right now, I should have tested weekly

I'm so sorry for your losses.
It really varies from person to person on how long it takes for your levels to return to 0. It may take a couple more weeks.

Thank you ladies, I'm sure it's just leftover hcg but it's throwing me off.

Patty, luv ya too girl, you all have been so supportive. What makes me happy is Elijah is in a place where he will never suffer and will never feel pain.

Hi Pamela,

I'm sorry to her about your loss of your sweet angel

Can you have another visit with your doctor and possibly have a few betas drawn to see what they're doing? Perhaps an u/s as well to make sure everything is ok inside of you or see what is going on... I wouldn't hesitate getting a check up or call your ob/gyn nurse triage to ask questions then see what they suggest to do.

It could be residual or it could be new pg, Is there a possibility like bd'ing w/ no protection?

Hi Pamela.. I remember you.. I am sorry to hear about the loss of your Elijah.. As for your question it is probably best to consult with your DR.. I know with early losses you go down pretty fast, but for 19 wks I don't know how long it could be.. Keep us posted either way hun.. HUGS!!
